  1. From what I read, Alford had a terrible season last year and it was a surprise that he ended up getting that big contract. Hopefully he turns it around this year.
  2. Masoli would be the last guy I'd have out of that list. MBT would be my first choice. I'd also be good with Adams/Evans/Patterson... somebody with at least some CFL experience. Could also wait for someone getting cut in TC.
  3. As per the cfl.ca free agent tracker : MBT Caleb Evans Shea Patterson Tyrie Adams Logan Bonner Masoli
  4. I tried the Hero burger.. it was depressing and sad. The version I had in the late 90's had a different bun, two types of cheese, and I think a special sauce. I remember it tasting good... the current one taste like the rest of Mcd's menu which is dog crap. It comes with a hockey stick that I cannot understand why anyone would want to collect, it's basically a toothpick with a curve.
  5. I do find it funny that people can make light of MBT talking to his ancestors yet a large amount of players are heavily religious talking and believing in different spiritual entities. MBT was really bad last season, that is what somewhat cools me off from wanting to bring him in. Prior to last season he was durable and at least gives his receivers a chance at making plays. Better then Strev that's for sure.
  6. No better time to start then now! Activate which is next door is also a good workout and a lot of fun.

  8. Ugh this is the worst year for Canada to lose to the States...
  9. This is the main event? This is a garbage level main event.
  10. I'd imagine cheaper. The last UFC event in Winnipeg sold like dog **** and they had to paper a lot of the seats. I'd imagine affordable prices.
  11. I wonder if Rhymes/Dunbar will stay in shape in case a team faces injuries and needs a mid season pick up. Imagine if these guys were available last season when our receivers were complete dog crap.
  12. And streaming killed the CD industry which is forcing muscians to go back to doing live shows.
  13. I'd be ok if Tim Hortons filed for bankruptcy and was taken over by a Canadian company. Timmy's is D level quality these days.
  14. He won't have the excuse of a bad o-line + rookie OC to fall back on "if" he fails to perform.
  15. The only way a modern day Baywatch could work is if they could get Sydney Sweeney as the new Pam.... otherwise I don't think blonde bimbos in bathing suits works in 2026. Trying to make it anything else will just end up as cheese as Baywatch Nights was.
  16. What is disappointing is that they stated that they will go from 8 tenants up to 10 tenants. I would have thought with a massive increase in seating and cutting out that full corner that they would have at least 4 - 6 more spots for new restaurants. Hopefully with the remodel it forces the crap places to leave (Chinese restaurant, Koya, Taco Time) and its replaced with something that is at least edible.
  17. Part of the problem is that Winnipeg is over saturated with restaurants. I have no idea how some of these places stay in business with so much competition. We went to Nu-Burger on Henderson to check out the new location and including us they had only 3 customers. This was from noon when we arrive up until 1:00 ish. I think the opposite and that the chain restaurants will be closing and the one offs that offer high quality & home cooked foods are the ones that will survive.
  18. CFL.caTicats sign receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr. to two-year con...The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced on Thursday the signing of National wide receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr. to a two-year contract.
