I'll say it again... I'd rather give it to a young guy who hasn't hit his potential yet. We've seen LaPo peak and it's nothing special.... I'd rather they take a risk on a guy like Brady or even Jackson... guys who have shown well and who are trending upwards and possibly can be a really good coach. With LaPo I'm not thrilled and I'm also not saying it's the end of the world... I just expect a whole bunch of average with him... Now had they grabbed Brady or McAdoo made him the OC and Assistant Coach... that would of got me excited for the next season.

What frustrates me is that other teams had to work with 3rd string guys and could move the ball. Why not try to hire these kind of guys who can take steps forward when dealing with adversity? Lapo had his guys and the offense still was stagnant...

So it takes time off and visits to NFL camps to realize that a short lass on 2nd and long doesn't work and or going for it on the goal line when your team has struggled to score TD's?

Apparently while doing his TSN gig he's attended 10 NFL camps held to improve and come up with new offensive Offensive plays. A guy who is willing to do that on his own dime and time is serious about improving his OC abilities. Time to forget about the old days guys. Give him a break. Once again... MB did the exact same thing and look how that turned out

Japanese audiences like a good freak show.. This is why mma from Japan doesn't work well here. For the most part north american fans don't want to shell out money for super fighters destroying tomato cans wearing a mask that can't fight. In Japan they eat that up.

I would rather give Brady or Jackson a shot over a guy who has failed twice with us. Also Maas wasn't a crap backup.. The guy was a legit starter and regardless it makes no difference on a players skill level or how many years he played. Coaching has completely different variables then playing.

Wow I'm shocked that this happened and a bit disappointed that they made a huge splash while we of course never do. This definitely will be his biggest test.... he has a massively depleted roster, an awful defense that won't be fixed in one season and he's going to have to deal with the local media who will be on him from day one. I think the odds are in favour of him sinking...

Bob Sapp has had 2 real fights with Akebono in the past.... however Sapp has thrown his last 20 or so fights ... I would hope he would at least try against Akebono since he beat him up twice already. What was hilarious was the amount of blatant racism they used to do with Sapp both in wrestling and K-1... had him eating bananas with monkeys at the zoo was funny yet I somehow doubt it would fly in North America lol

Not really. Although I'm not sure when he fought a toddler. Or are you just being a ****? Kid looked five to me I'm not being an ass and found it funny. Big fan of his work, way more entertaining then anything current in the WWE. Didn't he fight an invisible opponent also?

Maurice definitely is the right guy for the club, I fully trust that guy to lead the team over a long period of time.
