Tanev I thought had a good game. Copp honorable mention. Comrie's uniform number is as close as he will get to #1. That second goal.... Lowry is certainly an interesting situation. He has not developed the way the team wanted, I don't think. He seems a little too comfortable. Are he and Copp competing for the same spot or can they co-exist? Has Copp been good enough that on a two-way deal he takes the spot of Lowry on a one-way? Of course, this means he sits upstairs and watches. Doubt he would clear waivers. I would like to see Armia get a shot over Burmi but would be fine either way. Not sure what happened but... he's slow and not very agressive anymore. That's a pretty solid 4th line then... guys who can pk and possibly add some O. That's a pretty skilled bottom 6. Dunno if anyone thought about this but some of the vets not having a good camp might have advantage of Maurice not being here. He may not be back until Sunday if TE wins tonight. He was better but still not at the level of his rookie year. He also faded when all the call-ups came (IMO). He looked dreadful against Calgary. Matty P just seems to have a black cloud following him around in terms of injuries, but he makes this team better hopefully not serious but he needed help going to the locker room. Fragile seems a little harsh. He has played in 80+% of our games since he got to Winnipeg. I'm very encouraged by what we're seeing out of Morrissey. IMO this is a crucial year for him and he has to be very good. He is going to play top-four minutes all year unless he plays himself out of it.
