I was not aware that Seattle was in Canada? I never said the States was not a racist country. They have so many different groups of racists that you can find at least one place where each culture is not accepted. You go to the more dangerous places like Oakland or Chicago and you are lucky to make it out alive if you're white. You go to redneck central as anyone of color and the same thing. Canada does not have places like this. You get some mild hate in the Bible belt of Manitoba but it's far from not being able to walk down the street without being jumped and stabbed. My original point was Canada is a safe and accepting country. Old school parents from all colors and backgrounds are more common to not wanting inter breeding. I know lots of asians , africans, europeans all which the parents frown upon their children dating someone from a different culture... this isn't anything new. I'm going to assume your father wasn't part of some kind of group that hunts down natives. I'm going to guess that many people under 40 have no issues at all with their children dating someone from a different background. The younger generation in Canada are so much more accepting and in my opinion the country is moving in the right direction rather then what they did in the olden days.

Ladd will at least get you a first plus a prospect minimum even late on trade deadline day. The other teams are just throwing that out just to lower the ask. Come deadline day Chevy will get multiple offers and will squeeze more out from them.

It's hard to fully believe everything they said against Warrior... while a money mark and definitely a sell out he definitely stuck with his stories and many of them ended up becoming true after many years. The reason he gave for bailing on WWE was because Vince was screwing him out of merch and the comic book deal and so forth. Warrior was not a "Yes man" like Hogan was so this is another theory on why he was buried so quickly. I wouldn't say the guy was a flop.... he was huge in his day... the problem was his time was very short at the top.

Ladd is a fantastic..... 2nd or 3rd line guy. Not worth the 6 million and clearly he's diminishing already.

I'd have no issues at all with them having American teams.... the only issue I'd have is trying to have teams in crap markets and the ratio rules.

Trade Ladd... just because he leaves the team doesn't mean he will automatically sign with whoever he goes to. If they really miss him they can sign him in July.
