True. He was here for the 2011 Training camp, the year after Palardy set the franchise record for field goal percentage with 26/30 for 86.7%. Tough to cut a guy like that in favour of a completely raw rookie, though it would have been nice to keep Paredes on the practice roster... many teams use a PR spot on a kicker. Oh well... ancient history at this point.

It said in the paper that Miles is an FA after this season, for what its worth. Its too bad he got injured at training camp because it kinda derailed his season. I remember standing with Buchko at training camp and I asked him if he was excited about any player in particular and he mentioned Wallace Miles. Maybe he was on to something.

We barely have 3 serviceable NI starters, let alone 7. If we have a shot at Harris, we need to take it and get him here.

Foster is going to be a free agent. I have no problem with giving him extended play time to see if it is worth re-signing him. Now we know it's not worth it and can avoid a big blunder.

I don't follow, on the Elliott comment. And yes obviously a new HC will want his own guy, and the wavering fan base is hungry for a new QB as well. What are you trying to say?
