  1. There's a million (literally) players that could play in the CFL and we would not notice a difference whatsoever. The owners need to fight hard to keep costs down. I'd be willing to lose a season to negotiate a fair (for the owners) CBA. The players work hard, no question, but we could find plenty more just like them to do the same job. The health of the league is the number one priority here, and it can't be compromised due to one over-inflated TV contract. I would offer to increase the yearly salary cap increase increment from $50,000 to $100,000, and immediately raise the cap from 4.6 million to 4.8 million. More than fair.
  2. His best days were behind him in 2011 when he put up over 1700 yards? Interesting.
  3. Wanna bet? No chance we only have those 3 QBs on the roster when the season begins. Literally zero chance. They will at the very least bring in a young QB from the States, probably two of them. What I meant was that there seems to be little chance of another experienced quarterback coming on board. Oh. Kels said "QB prospect" so I was rolling with that. We may see Kevin Glenn here yet, but you're probably right that we don't bring in another experienced arm.

  5. - Do NCRs (Not Criminally Responsible), once they are released, ever reoffend? The recidivism rate for criminals released from the corrections system is very high -- estimates range from 40 to 50 per cent. For NCRs, the recidivism rate is between 10 to 15 per cent. However, for those NCRs hospitalized for the most violent crimes, the recidivism rate nationally is almost zero. In Manitoba, Mackenzie said he is not aware of any NCR responsible for a killing who committed another violent crime after being released. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/opinion/columnists/making-sense--of-ncr-247992421.html
  6. That's because we already have Watson and Kohlert in front of him, two legitimate starting receivers. The REDBLACKS have Hargreaves and Matt Carter to battle it out for one starting receiver position. And if they have some injuries and have to start two Canadian receivers? Yikes.
  7. Burke cut him twice, Mack just kept throwin him back in
  8. Sexy training camp back. Not sure what else he got. Fast fast fast
  9. BS Buck is no Andrew Ladd. His wife likes hot guys.
  10. Classic negative viewpoint
  11. Fold the team, we're ******
  12. He's a far better offensive lineman than you'll ever be!!!!
  13. If Lulay's rehab is on schedule he may be ready for TC iirc. Yes but wouldn't Glenn be much better insurance then Pierce/Elliott? Yes I agree, I actually believe BC is a very likely destination for Glenn.
  14. Well it doesn't get any clearer than that.
  15. You might be "someone like that".
  16. Well maybe we can get Trent Richardson
  17. I agree with Dr. CFL, I think we should bring in Paris Jackson
  18. Hats off to the Canadian women's hockey team... that was one hell of a game. Also super happy for my attractive friend Kaitlyn Lawes who came back from a shaky start in the gold medal game to hit two clutch shots and help set them up for the win. And she looked great doing it!
  19. I'll hold out on judgment on that one. Riders got two Canadians including their punter and a good special teamer. We got a guy who may or may not ever start for us, and certainly won't be chasing down kicks on special teams.
  20. Bear WoodsSo they're as desperate for a MLB as we are.Mtl has Bear Woods and who do the Bombers have exactly ?Which team would be the more desperate ? I was assuming Bear Woods is some bum. I've never heard of him. Is he any good? Hard to say. He's been with Montreal for a year (or more?) but hasn't seen a whole lot of action.
  21. Lolololol way to post in the wrong thread bro
  22. Bear Woods
  23. Good luck getting Tyler Holmes out of Toronto. IMO he will be starting for them this year.
  24. Could be an okay backup... right now the first man up behind Watson and Kohlert is a toss up between three untested young guys. However Jackson passed his best-before date about three years ago so I'm not sure there is much point. Maybe for some leadership on the offensive side of the ball.
