This sounds like a really reasonable, well thought-out solution. The only issue I see is that they would need a 3 sided coin to decide who gets the ball first, which is of course absurd.

I'd prefer Etcheverry. Already seen the Marshall defence enough, not a fan. At least the Etcheverry defence should be exciting. I'm not that worried about our D, I actually think we've got a pretty good core of players there. An experienced MLB like McCune or Jamall Johnson could go a long way for us.

Glad Stewart won't be back. I don't think anyone ruined his career. He has had many opportunities to succeed, he's shown he is incapable of playing anything but the field corner... failed miserably when given the opportunity at HB and SAM. Not sure he is worth the veteran's salary he would be commanding just to play that field corner spot. Not to mention the fact that he has always shown himself to be a me-first type of guy, rather than a team guy... stupid penalties, refusing to go down after an interception with no time remaining even though it's the safe play, constantly jumping routes and not coming up with the ball... never been a fan.

I'll be a little disappointed if the Bombers go into training camp without another QB that has a little CFL experience Worked fine last year with Edmonton................ well offensively at least. They did have an experienced backup though, just didn't need him

I don't mind Matt Carter but I don't think you want him out there every down. He hasn't been incredibly productive but he does seem to have a penchant for making clutch plays when called upon. I think it would be a stretch to call either of Carter or Bradwell "starting quality receivers." Even Anthony Parker... maybe he still has the potential to be a good receiver, but I'm not sure you bank on potential for being one of your starters. Certainly they must be confident that they are getting Kohlert back, because he is the best receiver scheduled to hit the market.

Looks that way. I'm thinking 4 NI OL, 2 NI receivers, and an NI somewhere on defence. It would be nice to pick up Laurent, Butler, or Emry so we don't have to start Cauchy or Bucknor at Safety.

BS you can only subtract from your roster at this time of year... Esks lost Krausnick to Ottawa and then signed Baboulas just a few days ago to shore up their depth at Centre. Plus Dublanko as an ST addition. I'd certainly take Baboulas over Kowalczuk. Nothing wrong with taking a look at where we stand this year as opposed to this time last year... see where we stand with FA coming. What is it that you like about Baboulas?

True but if we are saving money on a QB, and Henoc goes to the NFL, I imagine we'll have some cash to throw around. We need Canadian starters. By my count, if things stay the way they are, there are 6 Canadian starters from other teams that will hit free agency... Bourke, Laurent, Butler, Myddelton, Kohlert, and Emry. It would be nice to land one or more of those names.
