    What's that? The Running Man?
  2. Yes we have Couture. The question is how much depth do you need? And is Spooner ready to play? You seem sure that he is... I'm not ready to make that declaration. We've seen multiple teams going FIVE men deep into their OL depth over the last couple seasons. You have to be ready for that, especially when you're a contender and making a push for a championship. If Neufeld brings in a star player to improve the team this year? I'd consider it. If Neufeld brings in a 2018 second round pick? I'll pass.
  3. Pretty sure I saw Jeffcoat getting some reps inside last game but I could be wrong.
  4. Yes. It is nice to currently be reaping the rewards of a healthy OL. But catastrophe can strike at any time and a fully healthy line can be 3 men into our depth in a single week. It will be nice to have Couture, Neufeld, and Foketi at that time so we don't have to expose Spooner before he is ready, or worse, sign a guy off the street and hope he can play. If we are going to ship out OL depth, it better be a damn good return that makes us better this year. Now is not the time to shop our depth for draft picks.
  5. Coombs was close to a 1000-yard pace before his injury. But yeah... he has shown no ability to stay healthy. I actually think Neufeld is a nice comparison... decent Canadian starter-level players who just happen to be band-aids. Cross is a good fullback. That was a great draft pick. But I still like what we've got at that position.

I think ROH has the potential to be great if someone with deep pockets came in and poured some money into it. But they have to pick the right time... maybe when Vince steps away from WWE or dies and there is some turmoil.

That's why there needs to be stronger rival promotions. If there is a legitimate threat of talent leaving, the talent has more power to call the shots. In my opinion.

So how do you know they can cut a promo if they never show it?
  9. That may be true but that doesn't mean we're going to win every bidding war. And Wally needs Canadian talent... badly.
  10. Let's keep in mind that Gray was always going to be a long-term project. "Project" usually means the player is not ready for NFL competition. And he isn't. That doesn't mean they give up on him. Maybe he shows up on our doorstep sooner rather than later but I'm not putting too much stock in pre-season performance.
  11. This is just total insanity.

The Rock is the greatest talent to ever grace a WWE ring. Between him, Stone Cold, and DX, the entertainment value was through the roof every single week. Now we get a bunch of scrawny or fat guys who can't cut a promo but they're "great workers". And ratings are in the toilet.
  13. As much as we've all been let down by Neufeld, when you see teams scrambling to pick up national OL (BC trying to poach PR's, signing Andrew Jones... Calgary trading for Dillon Guy... Montreal trading for Matt Vonk...), you know Neufeld would fetch a pretty decent price.
  14. I could get on board with that, but you have to expect that several teams, such as the Lions, would also be making a hard push.

Sable is definitely up there as well. Right up with Jerry Lawler yelling "Puppies!!"
  16. Jesus in the time in took to post 4 times, you could just find it yourself and connect the dots.
  17. Might cast some shade, but that's not such a big deal, and a total non-issue at night.
  18. It's crazy how quickly it's going up.
  19. I think I would agree, in general. Guys like that "Mosaic" clown deserve everything they get but in the more recent case of a guy like szaroz71 or whatever his name is, he is just joining the conversation and shouldn't be insulted out of the building.
  20. Congratulations. All hail our glorious, infallible leader. Now get in line.
  21. I wonder how many other CFL players we would be able to say that about if they faced the same media scrutiny as Manziel.
  22. That seems a little heavy-handed. A single accusation of domestic violence and you can never play in the league? Not a conviction, but an accusation? I'm not sure that's the right way to handle things.
  23. This is a great point as well. McDuffie led the league in KO return average last year and didn't look like anything special in the couple games he's played for Ottawa this year... a full 7 yards lower per return, albeit in a small sample size. Is it the cover teams or the returner? I have a feeling that any of our other options would be putting up solid kick return averages as well.
