You obviously didn't know Rich. He used to call himself Turd. He did that. And he referred to himself by that name. That was the way he was. You'd know on a weekend late Fri & Saturday nights if he was into his beloved Bombay by the way he posted & what he said.

Im not aware of any "smear campaign" against Drew Willy but i am aware of a fan base that was sick of losing and wallowing in QB mediocrity that had been going on here since George W began his 2nd term in office. Willy did himself no favours and played himself off the team. Blame it on whatever you want but it is what it is.

At some point the Bombers had to cut bait & go home. Willy's time was over. I had a feeling it was. The Bombers obviously don't think Willy will progress any further developmental wise from now on. They see him everyday at practice & in meetings. There must've been something there they didn't like or were concerned about. Is Willy any better than LeFevour? Did anyone ever think we'd get anywhere near what we got from the Argos for Willy? I sure didn't. We came out smelling like a rose, I believe.

I don't begrudge Carter's upbringing as a rich kid. What I do begrudge is that his Dad spoiled him. He has been an entitled brat since he got to college & he should've been set straight by his family. That being said, doesn't excuse Cato going off the deep end. Ranting, raving & fighting with teammates won't bring his friend back. If he's that upset then he shouldn't be starting this week.

It's really a shame that his kids seem to know little or nothing about his career as a Bomber. If he had played in the NFL he'd have been a legend. It really is unfortunate & this celebration of his playing days will help shed more light on his playing days for his adult kids
