Sweet Chin Music is one of my favorite finishing moves of all time. Simple and looks great. It didn't require too much build up (except the foot stomp bit).

Also, the Stinger Splash. Not exactly Sting's finishing move but I loved when he did it back in the NWA, then WCW, days.

A question for all: What are your favorite finishing or "signature" moves?

I was always a fan of the DDT, back in the day of Jake Roberts when it was a finishing move and not just another move in the middle of a match. When I first saw Jake Roberts perform the move it looked devastating, and it was one of those moves that didn't require an elaborate setup, although he always added a few theatrics.

You can either convert the Excel spreadsheet to a google sheet, share it, and the URL will embed or covert the PDF to a picture, upload it to a free picture sharing site and post that.

Or if you prefer, send it to me and I can convert it.

Rich - that technology is a bit beyond me! I tried to see if I can PM it to you, but I can't figure out how to attach something like you would an email.

Reilly and Mitchell are head and shoulders the #1 and #2 QBs in the CFL, in that order.

However as a big not-Nichols guy, I don't see how anyone can say he's not number 3.

Every guy on this list loses. Every guy has good games, bad games, losses in games they should've won and wins in games they should've lost.

I truly think the reason that Nichols doesn't get as much love is because he never puts together a game where the Bombers go out and kill a team. They don't 60-1 anybody. But they win. And he's a big part of it. Nichols is very quickly turning me into a believer, which is crazy because when he took over from Willy, I was beyond convinced it was temporary and he'd never amount to anything.

I'd be curious to see the numbers of each of those three guys since Nichols became a starter. Just to measure it. I know Nichols has a better winning % than Reilly and a worse one than Mitchell. But what are the QB stats. Would be interesting.

I was able to put that information together pretty easily, but I don't know how to post it. I have it in a Excel spreadsheet and saved them as PDF's. Is there a way I can post it?

Enjoying the tweaks for the most part. One little thing I've noticed....when I'm on mobile (and only mobile).....there is only an option to mark the entire messageboard (all forums) as read. I can't just mark the individual forum as read.....

I thought that too, but then found that option near the bottom, above the Twitter feed. It would be nice if it was at the top.

overall very nice. Though via Mobile it doesn't seem to allow for log in. Nothing comes up when I try.

On my mobile I get a large banner ad across the top that sometimes pushes the log in menu off the screen to the right. If I navigate to the right it's there. I don't know if it's the same for you, but it's something I've noticed.

i remember this moment like it was 10 years ago... that standing O and Stegall Chant for like 5 mins solid was awesome.  Hope the bombers give us something huge to cheer about tonight!

Great moment! It's unfortunate that he had to set the record wearing that god-awful uniform and logo the Bombers had at the time. It would have looked much sweeter with the current uniform/logo.

  7. It's not Manitoba, but I played this course once in the late 90's when I was doing some work in the Northwest Territories: http://www.fortsimpsonchamber.ca/featured-post-5/.

It had sand "greens" that you were supposed to rake after you were done, although it looks like they may have changed that now. Every time you stopped for your next shot you immediately had a cloud of gnats and black-flies that would swarm you. But it was worth it so I could always tell my brother (who is an avid golfer) that I played golf further north than him!

    Just yesterday:

Part of the issue is that the media doesn't seem to want to cover these attacks.  Or the only sites that cover it are ones deemed to be "fake news" by certain elements and so therefore potentially they are just made up.  So it's a self-fulfilling prophecy - the media that is "trusted" won't report it, so therefore there is doubt as to whether it exists.  Case in point - it doesn't appear that the Edmonton molestation story has been reported by the CBC.  Is this because they deem it not newsworthy?  Or are there other reasons?  Is this willful blindness to cover these stories (if this indeed is happening) beneficial to society and the greater good?  I am just asking the question.

  9. I agree with the slow beginning, but great movie overall comments. I thought it would have been neat to reference a young Wedge as a member of Rouge One who is one of few to survive the battle. Further establish his horseshoe-up-the-ass credentials! Unless they did and I missed it.

  10. When talking about all-time Bomber greats, both in this thread and other threads, it's odd to me that no one seems to talk about James Murphy (unless I've missed it). I'm not saying he's right up there with the best-of-the-best, but he had a stellar career. Team career record holder in receptions and yards until Milt Stegall; three-time Grey Cup winner; league MVP; Grey Cup MVP; multiple time all-star; one of the most important players on the teams in the 1980's. Didn't he get picked to the all-time Bomber team when they did that a few years ago? I haven't lived in Winnipeg since early-2000 so maybe I've missed something with him, but he seems to get overlooked in the discussions.
