Didn't southeast Saskatchewan get like 150 mm of rain between Friday and Sunday night?

We had like 1/10th of that in Winnipeg.

Willy was under pretty significant pressure from the 2nd quarter on. Burke sent a ton of HB/SAM blitzes and Grigsby wasn't that great in pass protection. Willy handled it very well, got rid of the ball quick or bought himself time.
Collaros needs an offence that uses tons of misdirection and moves the pocket to give him a chance to deliver the ball. He's not going to do anything dropping straight back and standing in the pocket.

Not great quality but watchable, and it's the full game

After seeing the effort from almost everyone (at least everyone who's on the team) in pre-season and game 1, it's not hard to move on from Banks and this situation says more about Banks than O'Shea and his staff.  Everyone has a paddle in the water except for Banks.  See ya.

I look forward to seeing this Bombers D vs Reilly.  As long as they don't let him run/scramble for 150 yards it could be a big day for them.  He's not diagnosing anything pre-snap, even against more basic defenses, so that gives the D that extra second to get to him, along with his tendency to try to extend plays all the time and their crap OL.  They don't appear to have much of a run game outside of Reilly either.

I'm not reading too much into this result.  Glenn turned the ball over, that was the real difference in the game, and Edmonton still barely managed to pull it out.  He won't be giving it away like that very often.

Sure, almost all of his drops were on one route that Lapolice kept sending him on even though he had trouble tracking the ball on that one route.  Coach should have found a way to make him useful, ridiculous talent just put to waste here in that 2010 season.

It was after the play in the back of the endzone on Argo 3rd down where Washington got called for unnecessary roughness but they called the penalty as occurring after the change of possession, giving the Bombers the ball -15 yards.

It was Murray Clarke calling it as the back judge, he does owe us a few dozen calls.

Reilly holds the ball for a long time and his OL is terrible.  Bad combo.

His analysis of Jeff Fuller was good.  Played 3 games in 2013, only 15 catches.

    Yes, only.  5 catches a game= 90 a season.  Only 90.

Teague Sherman, damn.  Ballcarriers better be carrying that ball extra tight when he's around.

Nice to see Sherman getting a chance on D and continuing to shine as he did in limited chances last season.  Dobie's probably wishing they played him at SAM LB now.

Morley took a pretty funny dive on a PAT after a Toronto guy punched him...took a good 5 seconds for the pain to register in his brain.  Must have been watching the World Cup.

They moved the guys around in the front 7 like crazy though, pre-snap too.  I think Turner and Vega lined up in every gap during the course of the game.

It's such an advantage for the defense if they can screw with the QB's pre-snap reads nowadays.  Tackling needs to stay strong though.  I was glad to see that because they struggled somewhat in the pre-season, admittedly with a lot of cuts/non-contributors in there.

I really like the new additions in the secondary, Randle, Johnson and Leggett especially.  Will be interesting to see what happens with Suber and Banks.  How do you sit one of those guys or someone like Dunn after that game?

Alexander is probably a little better than Bucknor.  Bucknor hesitates a lot, but to his credit he kept everything in front of him and finished plays last night.  Better to give up 11 yards and a first down than a 50 yard run after catch.

I initially felt the same about the fake punt, but it wasn't anything gimmicky or gadgety at all, just a total blown assignment by the Argo back on that side of the field to not cover the gunner.  All the Bombers showed is that they are willing to take advantage of that.

That was definitely a game plan put together for Burke's defence, and with not a lot of pressure on the QB from the front four, that defence collapses and is prone to getting burned by the deep ball, or any ball really with no pressure.

Even the turnover was a good play for the Bombers.  Essentially a 45 yard punt, and also a 50-50 INT/Denmark catch for touchdown ball.

Toronto's offence was off-balance all night, Ray had no idea where to go with the ball from what the D showed pre-snap, leading to a lot of double-clutching and settling for 2 yard passes with a defender coming downhill at the guy catching the ball, when our defence got to the ball and didn't let Owens, Durie or Chiles get any YAC, they had nothing.  One might wonder why the Argos didn't try to establish any kind of run game, even though they got behind early, there was lots of time and they completely abandoned the run.  The Argos had a terrible night, penalties like crazy, a couple of their DB's looked terrible in man coverage, #4 especially.  Even on a lot of the deep bals the Bombers completed, he could have easily and probably should have been flagged for PI.

It's nice having a quarterback with an arm and a brain, who isn't getting scraped off the turf whenever he gets hit.
