It was a good old-fashioned beat down from start to finish. The Stamps went ahead 8-0 early, and we never got within a TD after that. They attacked in the first half then kept everything in front of them in the second half to make sure that we didn't get a deep shot TD. They were better in every phase of the game last night.
If we do it to them in the next game, then we can put it down to 'just a bad game'. If not, then they just showed the league how to beat us.

Calgary's the best team we've faced so far this year. They got beat in a monsoon by a running QB.

No but he needed a spotter to find the open receivers and someone else to throw the ball to wide open deep receivers. He missed those at least once in each game & they coulda been game changing players.

The Argos should turn it around mid-season when they get a bunch of their best players back and that defence has played 8 games together.

1. Streveler - Bad start, tossing 3 shoulda been picks, but got away with it and went on to look like a real QB.
2. Peterson - Welcome to the CFL, now replace the MOP and get 100+ yards.
3.Demski - Caught the first TD on his fingertips giving Streveler the confidence he needed.
HH Vaval - Flipped the field over and over.

Initial contact matters, but any hit to the head is in the rule book, so I take my complaint back.
