I agree with his premise. But man - editing is not what it used to be.

Those amounts are maximums - are they not?

It didn’t happen with strev and lapo, and zach has been forced to run check downs and screen based offences. Zach will take his shots, but I don’t think that will be a corner stone for us for certain. New oc can change a lot.
At zachs best, he wasn’t chucking over the shoulder ropes to guys streaking down field. He was dissecting Ds with seam busters and deep outs 20 yards down field. That, is what should be a corner stone of our offence with zach at the helm. Then we agree. This is more what I'm referring to. As compared to all check downs, previous to ZC.

Newsflash: HCs don't like to add any more rookies than they absolutely have to in order to field a roster. That is a professional football HCing rule of thumb.
But even so, the last 2 years have tipped the balance a bit too much.

Don’t agree. The offence changed soo much from lapo to under buck.
It’ll depend on how much input zach gets, and how much the new oc works to counter zachs weaknesses.
When Zach arrived in 2019, from his very first start, the ball was going downfield more. This continued under Buck.
That's always going to be a cornerstone of the O, no matter who the OC is - so far there is no evidence to prove otherwise

generally speaking...it's round 2-6 where you find the gems in the CFL draft. Round 1 is likely the biggest guessing game
Will they NFL or not NFL...that is the question?

Is that where his main place is? I know he's got the cottage at Matlock... And boy howdy he can smack back some Torque when he wants to. Whew....
Main place is on the creek at Petersfield. His best buddy Rick moved to BC. Rick is about 5 feet tall, was always a good time with those two

Neufeld is getting worse and worse in pass pro. Lots of chicken wings and shoulder checks. Doesn't get his hands on many people these days. Toronto ate him alive. Montreal ate us alive on the whole, we played 1 good quarter against them out of 8 this season. That's the kind of team you need to be able to handle to win the whole thing.
If a guy like that is on the team next year we're not serious about winning.
Dobson is terribly slow to get his feet moving in both run and pass. He's ok, and a bit more physically engaged, might be as good as anyone they can get in free agency.
Should be pretty easy decision to focus on building out 3 Americans on the OL for next year short of Desjarlais being cut loose by Ottawa due to his salary or something.
My thoughts exactly - this was mostly the reason I wasn't expecting the Bombers to win the GC.

He left money and popularity as a professional athlete on the table to hold true to his convictions.
Respect.
He still comes out to the south basin. Those American ice fishers are a key part of the local economy. I am sure they keep several hotels and motels in business
The LC's don't mind them either. 😁

Did he though? Maybe OL but those receivers in Montreal are better than what Nichols was throwing to here.
Fair comment. But we did rely more on the running game and short yardage, for which purpose he had the best players available

I don't hate the comparison... but imo Nichols was better. Also a way better attitude.
I agree, but we also need to concede that Nichols had a much better supporting cast
Bryant in his prime, with Bond beside him at LG, later on Desjarlais - those guys were just outstanding

That could be part of it. I know a bunch of guys who do really well on yt with football nerdy content. Might not have the same market share up here though.
Might be entertainment quality, he’s a bit dry. Production quality really varies a lot. Might just need to find a way to each his market.I know few people who do a youtube channel of their farm. One guy is a dairy farmer, he has paid for getting a new house built, with $$ from his yt channel
Farm channels are really popular with urban viewers

Interesting. I think they were better with Fajardo starting. Mind you, I only watched them when they played the Bombers.
