Curious why this should piss fans off?  The whole point of free agency was to give more players autonomy in where they live and play.  I say this as a huge Jets fan knowing this is a big disadvantage for the team, but if he wants to sign somewhere for less money, its his choice.
If I were to make an argument on why he might sign in Florida for significantly less
Warm climate Competitive team Can sign for less but still make the same on net salary because of lower taxes, which also lets the team remain more competitive Should the tax advantage Florida has piss me off as a fan?   Maybe.  But life ain't fair in any capacity.  Not worth getting pissed off about in my mind.

Ted Goveia has passed away

We are a .500 team right now with 2/3 of the season gone.  Best guess on the remaining schedule:
At Hamilton  loss (especially of Collaros is still out) At Ottawa win Hamilton at home loss At Edmonton win Saskatchewan at home loss (This is the 2nd last week of the season, could be a win if SK has a playoff spot wrapped up already) Montreal at home win Don't really see us finishing above .500 either.    Could be worse of Collaros is out long term.

I am in software development and all of these questions apply there as well. The creative leap aspect is a big one. In our experience AI is great at producing/regurgitating (even large) projects as long as they are concepts that have already been done. It is absolutely garbage at coming up with novel solutions or working with APIs/technologies that are newer and have fewer sources to draw from.

Its a tough thing to navigate.  Is AI taking the same creative freedom that another artist does or is it copied and should the original artist be compensated.
The other interesting aspect is the more content that is generated by AI, the more AI learns from AI generated content (there are various articles out there on the potential dangers on this... here and here are a couple, but there is a lot of theories on this)   
Can AI learn to have "creative leaps" or will this always have to come from humans.  And if humans start relying on AI, do we lose the ability to really think and make those leaps.  Studies are starting to come out on how people who use AI to write vs people who write themselves use very different portions of the brain.  You really aren't learning critical thinking when using AI.

It will replace a lot.   Things like movie scores, commercials and places where the song isn’t front and center. 
 
For some pop music, this has almost already been happening with the formulaic writers.  Just won’t need those humans. 
 
I think what this does do is put a premium on authentic musicians and live performances.  I haven’t yet seen AI put emotion and lived experience into songs. 
 
And the more it generates and can flood the market, I think the more people will crave human created content.

O'Shea has been head coach since 2014.  Closest to that would be Dickenson who has been head coach since 2016. 
Calgary missed the playoffs last year before being 3rd in the West the prior 3 years, losing the semi final each year.  Though their record the last three years was 12 - 6, 6 - 12, 5 -12-1.  So one of those playoff years was just because everyone else in the West was bad.
Calgary seems to have revitalized itself this year.  Can O'Shea do that if we are entering a downward trend?   Do we need to go through 2 years of mediocrity before that happens?
