  1. Like others I liked what Clements was doing out there, flew around and had good instincts.  "Looked" like a LB.

Was worried bout the American DL with stove leaving but like the push and motor from Randle.

Was hoping to see the big yank corner, Rene? I didnt see him.

Elillingson would be wise to make some noise early, a few young guys behind him that look like players...plus they are at a fraction of his salary.

    Borsa, let's keep him.

Drew B looked poised and confident.

Prokup threw some dimes late in the game.

    Just another IG west win.

  2. I grew up in Winnipeg, spent my first 21 years there. Lived in Bc, ON and now Alberta.

Winnipeg has more charm than anyplace I have ever lived. More mom n pop shops which I love.

But...it is a bit of a dump in comparison.

Alberta has given me and my family a very comfortable life. (Earned) Winnipeg will always be home but I ain't ever moving back.

With that being said...Gdam I miss Gondola pizza, new york burgers, Jonny G's, Sonia's drive in, the Whiteshell, Zacks on Jefferson, the Pemby, buying tiger shrimp for Red River cats, Sals, BDI, sitting in the endzone of the old stadium watching games with my Dad, and the smokies after the game from the street vendor outside Toys R Us, Sunday cruise down Portage. Kelly's corner store in Weston, running from the owners when they saw us stealing lollipops, spending the whole day with our GT Snowracers on Garbage Hill...There really is no place like the Peg in Canada, warts and all...it truly is a special place...but yeah, ain't moving back.

You can't be serious about signing Banks. Look what he said in an interview in the Toronto Sun in December, while admitting he's not the athlete he once was:

“I’ve got a lot of mental issues I’ve been diagnosed with,” said Banks, who was voted most outstanding player in the CFL in 2019. “I see a therapist regularly thanks to the Ticats. That helped me get through the season.

“My health issues, I believe, were enhanced because of COVID, coming here, leaving my family at home, not being able to see my kids. My kids can’t come to see me, me having to get vaccinated and I don’t really agree with that. All of this took me to a lot of places mentally. I’ve had to deal with a lot."

You can feel empathy and compassion for him, definitely. But sign him in Winnipeg? Nah .... hard pass.

Good for him for talking about his issues and for how he is addressing them.

We can all relate how being away from family can impact you.

Facts: 2019: 4th in the league. 3rd in the West. Collaros beat Hamilton which neither of our other QB's could manage. Collaros didn't lose a game. We lost 4 of the last 5 games before Collaros got his first start. The blue kool aid chugging fans who are arguing that we were dominant are the ones without the facts on their side.

    Omg.

You have said this same bloody thing for years at this point. Just give it a break man.

    Just a troll.

Wow, one of the greatest most athletic CLUTCH plays that won us a Grey Cup in OT & it isn't Number 1??? I don't know what game you were watching or what rules you use to define great plays. I'm not going to research the Top 10 All Time Bomber Greatest Grey Cup plays as that would take too long. I'll give you My Top 3...

    1. THE PICK in Overtime: 2021

2, The Deflection & Interception on the Goal Line (All Mike Gray): 1988

    3. Ken Ploen's Winning Run For A Touchdown in OT: 1961

A Performance that I rarely ever hear about our grey cup wins is Bobby Cameron's in the '88 grey cup in Ottawa.

His punting was instrumental in our win that year. (It was very windy)
