  1. I take it as he thinks the Shmoes have a 33% better chance in winning the ball game or why would he pick them to win? I would like to tell him that he is sorely mistaken and the pounding Dumbo and his team are going to take tomorrow will drop them down two spots in the power rankings. It will make me proud to watch Hardrick and Gray kick the shlt out of their so dominant (according to the media) D Line and show them who they really are. A bunch of Dumbo lead Shmoes. There, I feel better for now lol!

  2. Don't underestimate the impact that a lot of the younger generation are not subscribing to cable or sat anymore. They stream their TV / Movies via Netflix et al and live sports is not offered on these types of apps. If they want to watch a game they gather with friends at a local drinking hole and watch from there.

In Toronto, if it is not a part of the US mainstream sports like NBA, NHL and why Toronto so badly wants the Bills to relocate there (We are the biggest and best city in Canada and we are better than being Canadian) they don't care. CFL is too small time for Toronto now.

MTL has no fans because they are a terrible team that had terrible owners and terrible management so who the hell wants to support that? They are not diehards like Winnipeg has.

BC is in the middle of those two if you ask me. A city that is on the point of getting too big to care for Canadian sports and the team hasn't been very good for awhile now. They figured it was because they had a QB issue and went out and spent too much to fix that but flattened the rest of the team in doing that. If they are not winning, the fans don't follow them.

The cure is not going to be easy and if it was we wouldn't be discussing this. Someone gets paid good dollars to figure it out and they need to work a little harder I guess.

People picking Powell lol! Sakabush isn't even going to score on offense lol! They may get a ST score...maybe. It's simple, the Riders Suck.

I guess the jokes on me for my Powell comment lol! At least it's nice to see Saskabush is still employing Owen!

  4. Lawrence did a "crime" and he needs to pay the time. Plain and simple. The CFLPA shouldn't defend him for this. They should guide him in the right direction so he can improve himself and his play in the future and that is the help they need to give him not reducing his penalty for a "crime" he committed and deserves to pay for. The PA needs to think out of the box on what standing up for their members means. Supporting Lawrence in a program to better himself and his play on the field is standing up for their member so he can have a longer and more positive impact on the game. That is looking out for player safety at the same time. What the hell is reducing his penalty going to do to help the player other than in his wallet? How is getting his penalty reduced improving player safety? Get your head out of Simonies a$$ CFLPA.

According to some on RiderFans, it's a league wide conspiracy.

Riders need to start hitting opposition QBs late and often.

In exchange for a 15 yard penalty Hamilton won tonight.

The CFL has demonstrated they have no desire to protect Rider QBs, so the franchise must take matters into their own hands. Old school hockey goon mentality. You hit ours dirty, we'll hit yours dirty.

What will it cost us? 15 yards? Players will pass a hat around the locker room to pay the player fine. Why not?

CFL will not properly address the issue until it becomes a problem for other teams, so let's make it a problem for other teams.

I'm angry and disgusted at how easy it is in this league to alter a teams season with one dirty hit without any repercussions.

Craig Dickenson must direct his defensive players to hit opposition QBs late, dirty and often to protect his own players.

It's like they've never heard of Matt Dunigan, Buck Pierce, Ricky Ray etc.

It's just Rider fans being Rider fans. It's just they way she goes boys.

  6. I never cared about NFL Ball until I joined a Fantasy Football league and now I love NFL Ball. I am a huge Football fan in both the CFL and NFL varieties! I love when I can watch football Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday! It took me one season to be familiar with the teams and players and the product on the field is great in both leagues. I would rather watch any football CFL or NFL over any other sport including hockey. To the people who say one is better than the other, I agree. They are both better than all the others lol!

  7. I too have concern for Hecht and Wilson. I watched Hecht bounce off tackles in the pre season game in Wpg. I think he has the mind for it but his size and tackling ability was seriously lacking from what I saw on the field. As for Wilson, I like others on here am concerned for the fact that he didn't stand out. I guess that is good if you are looking at standing out in a negative way but our last two starters there, first Wild then JSK both were constantly being mentioned for how many tackles they were racking up and big plays they were making. I haven't seen, heard or read anything like that on Wilson and that's what makes me nervous about him. There....I feel better now.

  8. Tier 1 - The best two teams overall

Winnipeg - 1st in the West

Calgary - 2nd in the West

Tier 2 - Only because they play in the East they will have winning records

Hamilton - 1st in the east

Toronto - 2nd in the East

Tier 3 - These three will battle for the final west spot and crossover

BC - 3rd in the West

Saskabush - 4th in the West and the crossover team

Edmonton - 5th in the west and eliminated and we finally see Jason Maas fired

Tier 4 - Will win some but never be in the playoff picture

Montreal - Will be better than last season but still struggle but they start their trend upwards. This will be Kavis Reed and company's last season in the league.

Ottawa - This will be a long season in Ottawa with a carousel of QBs and more change in the front office. They will be the Montreal of last year without the circus though.
