According to what Rod Penison said midway through last season their rebuild has been completed and they are a juggernaut team. And you are suggesting they need a rebuild? Why would a juggernaut team like the Riders need a rebuild lol!

if I was his HC I'd be strongly encouraging him to get help to lose weight or his employment may hinge on that.
To be completely honest with you, this statement right here is worse than the original video posted in my opinion. And Yes I did laugh at the video because it is funny. If it were me in that video, I would laugh as well and I would probably put a little more into it if I knew someone was recording it lol! I can probably do the same thing as Bob because I am 348lbs and 5'7. But I am built like an overweight bulldog lol!

The real reason we lost was we had Ottawa second and long ALL night and Harris found the sweet spot in our zone every single time. I’ve never seen a team complete so many second and longs. This is 100 percent entirely scheme and even with the best MLB in the league and loads of talent on the defensive side we will struggle defensively all season unless there’s a change at the DC position.
There were roughly 6 second and long situations where the Bombers were called on a penalty which extended the drives. Over 20pts were scored as a result of it. Please don't give all that credit to Trevor Harris nor blame the scheme because I can guarantee the defense didn't scheme all those penalties. It was a complete disaster on the penalty side of the game....whether they were warranted or not.

I travel 70miles each way. I get home at 12:30 from a 7:30 game.....70 miles away. One guy says he gets home at 12:30 in the city?? You are driving in circles than. I like parking at the value lot. 10 bucks, 5min shuttle ride to the tailgate area. I love Bomber Game Days! I love going to the games it is the highlight of the week for me on home game weeks!

Like I always say, the Bombers play harder and better when they feel like they are getting no respect so I sure hope the media keeps it up! It's a nice feeling to pi$$ in their cornflakes after a Big W!

Wonder how long before someone takes a questionable shot at him
If we were betting in a pool for this, I'd say 4 plays.
And it will be Westerman on a Roughing the Passer penalty.

Plus the improvement factor with a healthy team.

The bombers will not lose another game this season.....unless the injury bug hits them like last season.

Adams will not light it up. Johnny will not light it up. Mtl needs more help than a QB change. In saying that, Adams will start, Johnny will finish and barring any injuries, Johnny will be the starter going forward.

You forgot to mention the lack of production from Bowman when he is targeted due to him dropping the ball..... Wolitarsky may not get many targets but at least when he does he catches the ball. And that my friend is the bottom line on why Bowman was moved for a bag of used footballs.

Hope the Bombers can limit the penalties even more than they have and not give Toronna any momentum like they did with one or two of their offensive drives last week. With Lemon now out of their D, that I would hope will provide a tiny bit more of an advantage for Nichols and the Bomber offence to make a couple more plays to keep the drives alive and score the big points and keep the Bomber D off the field and fresh. Ball security is paramount as well although you can't stop the opposing D from making a few good plays like they did last week.

He hinted toward starting Lankford on the coaches show last night. He mentioned others but said a little more about Lankford and also mentioned that he has return capabilities as well. Although he did mention it would be a tryout this week in practice. He also said that starting another Canadian receiver is not being considered so that leaves, Lankford, Washington or Thompins in the open tryouts this week in my opinion.

wbbfan was pointing out that a two tailback set will help the Nichols lead offence when the opposing D smothers Harris. He mentioned that with the running threat of Streveler this helped keep the opposing D on their feet and took some pressure off Harris when Streveler was leading the offense. I don't think he was pointing out that Nichols is a bad pivot, I think his point was to high-lite the fact that the Bombers offence is more effective with a two back set when Nichols is leading it.

Cap and performance are very much closely correlated. Hanging on to an aging wr who clearly can't catch making $140k a season is a waste and we'll likely make a signing during NFL camp cuts.
I see the correlation between the two just the way the posts sounded is that the Bombers got rid of him because they were in cap trouble and that he was a cap casualty. But if he was performing there would be no reason to get rid of him as there is cap room for a performing vet receiver. I get your point now that you are saying there is no cap room for an under-performing vet receiver when we need to pay another receiver who can perform. I agree with that it makes perfect sense.

It's not Cap related. It's performance related. The final straw was last game in the wide open a twelve yard pass on 2nd and 10yds right into his hands with no one around him and a chance for big YAC yards and it ends up on the turf. That was when the decision was made. To get anything back was a bonus than straight releasing him (or moving him to the PR which would have been disrespectful to a vet player like Bowman) which is what would have happened had their been no interested parties. A bag of used footballs would have been ok too. Not saying Bowman isn't worth anything just saying he wasn't worth anything in his last stint here in Winnipeg. I personally would like to see Petermann come in because I feel he is very capable and effective and will play with everything he has but I think they will replace an international with an international like either Washington or Thompkins. This is my opinion anyway.

Ottawa doesn't want Davis so they won't make that trade.
Ottawa already has Davis.... I think you meant Ottawa doesn't want Matthews

Don't bring back an aged slug in Denmark to replace Bowman. We have guys on the roster already that can play and replace Bowman and who I feel have more to offer than Denmark. I would sure love to see more of Petermann in Bowmans spot. The guy seems that he can catch and is good on YAC yards like Bowman used to be. Bonus that he is CDN. I think he could be the best CDN receiver we have on the roster but he is a rookie so he isn't getting to play.

Man I don't like this. I just hope that the line can come together and gel fast. The stability there has been very much the reason for success so I don't want to see too much change there.
