Agreed. I know the Bombers are high on McGuire but man, with Collaros's injury history I wouldn't be comfortable with a QB2 that has thrown 3 passes in his career. Im not a Jennings fan but at the right price I wouldn't hate him here.

So, you're saying that you'd be more comfortable going with someone who does suck, rather than going with someone who might suck?  Interesting strategy.  I guess it does take the guesswork out.

Collaros also sucked in Hamilton in the end and in Sackstenchewan too the season before last. Just saying....a solid OL can fix a lot of perceived QB deficiencies.

Come to think of it, Mike Reilly didn't have such a great year last year. You could almost say he sucked. Or was his OL that sucked?

Agreed. I truly believe Adams is a top 10-15 receiver in the CFL. He's just been held back by the combo of Nichols(risk averse) and Lapo(ultra conservative play caller). Open up the passing game and he would excel. Im excited to see what he can do with Collaros/Buck.

What do you think he will do with McGuire/Buck? Every team had their QB1 go down at some point in the season. Im not comfortable with the QB2 situation. I was more comfortable with Streveler but even he struggled last season in the starters role. Does anyone feel that Jennings would be able to have some more success behind the Bombers OL vs what he was dealing with in BC and OTT last couple seasons? I feel like he would be able to handle the load and I feel like he was the next best backup to bring in next to Franklin. That is the only spot that makes me uneasy on the current roster.

I’d have to imagine the Bombers feel really good about McGuire being the back seeing as we haven’t signed a guy like Franklin or Pipkin to battle it out for that back up spot.

I have to believe Walters is holding out until Drew Willy lowers his ask....😜

ehhhh... Banks was producing in the Grey Cup - 6 catchs for 72 yards is pretty decent for basically a half of play.  From what I remember he got hurt in the first half, came back out in the second half and then got knocked out (on a hit to whatever was hurt)... Not every player is Streveler level tough.

Banks doesn't get hurt and he could've easily ended up with 150+ yards on the night...

The first time he went out he was pooped..and whining about getting ball 3 plays in a row..he's a pro athlete and that should be a non issue and at 195k a yr..suck it up

He also was pouting other times on field when things didnt go good..who cares what he did up to the point he bowed out..not enough to make a difference in a win

Banks gave up. Once the Cats got beat down and Evans was having a tantrum on the side lines you could see Banks gave up and that hit he took just cemented the loss in his mind so he quit on the team. then shortly after you could see others doing the same. Don't get me wrong there were still the guys with real heart on that team still playing their butts off but the leaders like Evans and Banks and Lawrence threw in the towels early and it made me giggle with joy to see these losers give up on their teammates. Especially loud mouths like Lawrence and Banks. Gutless losers. There are two kinds of people in this world, Winners like the Bombers and Losers like the Ticats.

I think Blake and Bladek are average at best but losing 2 NI OL, when you have an ageing Clark and Labatte and Shepley with no depth is brutal gming.

Labatte coming off an injury season too. Yes he finished the season but he missed the whole first 3/4 of it.

The guy works for TSN. He has to cater to all teams. His blood is blue & gold.

He also picked the Riders over the Bombers in the WSF. Any one who has blue & gold in their blood would never, ever do that. I still would wear my Stegall jersey if it wasn't too big on me now as I still like Milt but he has changed and the love he shows for the Riders (just to win over more fan popularity in my opinion) makes me sick. I do agree that working for TSN he needs to show that he doesn't favor any team but I don't like it when he seems to talk glowingly about the puke green and goes out of his way to "win over" that POS fan base. He doesn't seem to do it for for other teams but maybe I just notice it more when it is the Riders because I can't stand it lol! Anyway, my point is he deserves a ring when he wins one.

  7. Milt wears the Riders colors on his tie a lot on TV and he just loves going to those Riders games and "hot dogging" with the Riders fans even wearing their puke green jersey. That was disgusting. He only tried to save face by putting out that I support the Bombers video once the Bombers were in the Grey Cup. I'm not saying he is a bad guy nor am I saying I don't like him and the stuff he does for the city as far as charity events etc but I am saying he has been making some serious mental mistakes showing any ounce of support for Sackstenchewan. It bugs me each and every time. He deserves a ring when he wins one.

I wonder if BLM is still the better QB?  It may be the injury but BLM just didn’t look right this year.

I know a few hardcore fans of the Stamps that were upset that they didn't sit BLM in the WSF when he couldn't do anything on the field in favor of Arbuckle. Not saying anything would have changed anything in the game but if the fans can see it I have to think that the management can too. Now I realize that this is not an entire fan base calling for Arbuckle to be the QB1 but the thought is a least present and I don't disagree with BFFC on this at all. I could absolutely see the team moving in a different direction from BLM if they can get some real good assets in return and dump that huge salary. The word around the league is the massive mistakes that were made by paying so much money to MR and BLM have to be fixed. They want to re-establish the market on QB salaries before things get out of control and they start losing more good players at other positions to other leagues because teams can't afford to pay at other positions due to the QB spend and how much of the cap it will command. I believe it was Farhan Lalji who was speaking on this. Now I can't stand that Bomber hating son of a gun but he does seem to have some good connections for information in the league. Anywho... carry on....

  9. Even the toothless weirdo Rider fans that filled that toilet bowl couldn't over come the force that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers were in the 2019 Grey Cup Playoffs. They think they are the best fans in the CFL but in reality everyone else on earth that knows CFL ball knows who the best fans are. They show it loud and proud every game at home at IGF. The home of the loudest fans in the CFL. There are two kinds of people in this world, Championship winners like us Bomber fans and POS losers like those Sackstenchewan Riders fans.

  10. Once the Cats realized they were in against a team possessed with the will to win they folded like a cheap suit. I really don't recall hearing any Cats names other than Evans because he was getting sacked so much lol! Mind you the whole thing was kind of a blur because I was overtaken with the emotion when I realized the Bombers were going to end 29 years of heartbreak. It still hits me when I say that. And Chris Matthews got to put his pants on : )
