The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American defensive end Jay Person to their practice roster.

The six-foot-two, 233-pound defender made 228 tackles, 56 tackles for loss, 27 sacks, nine forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and five knockdowns over 48 collegiate games at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was a two-time AP All-American and was named the conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023.

Person most recently spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, appearing in all three preseason games and recording four total tackles. He signed with the team after spending the month of July on the practice roster of the Toronto Argonauts, acquiring his release to return to the NFL. He had previously signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent and was waived in mid-June.

The thing that bugs me is how he makes up excuses for why they are losing while the game is going on.  

The first time I tuned in was tonight. Because I finally figured out how to watch it. Bauming was muted and Zach was waking up the family. I had to shut it down. Sorry guys but you gotta get your tech together. I was very interested in the breakdown of this game from all the hype with Rourke but I just couldn't keep up with the volume control. 

I'm not a topic maker but if one of the prominent posters on here could make a topic about the command center decisions vs the refs calls I'd be very interested in reading that. I'm just saying 🤷 

It was an entertaining game at the end but not the outcome I wanted or expected to see. If D Brown doesn't get his ankle rolled up on...this game is over and Sackstenchewan is shown who they are. They are lucky that Crum had to play.
