I said I wasn’t going to cry this year. I cried in 2019 because it was the first Grey cup in my life time. My grandpa coached provincial football and was a hero to me and he  died of cancer in 2016. My dad stopped following football after that. They won several championships in midget, high school football, and coaching team Manitoba but I was with my girl friend tonight and balled my eyes out. I wish my grandpa was here to see this. So much disappointment in my life time. I love Canadian football. 

Proulx is my favourite crew bar none. 

He's a classic "let 'em play" type ref. He's reticent to make penalty calls at all, unless totally obvious. I love that style. Minimize the calls both ways as opposed to affecting the game.

Even the blown Williams call is fine. That's not his fault. Think about his position. Toronto should have made the right call and they *****ed it up.

Only if he gets star qb money up Here. The nfl pr salary is going up 2300 bucks a week for 2022. That's about 210k for a season on the pr. Combine that with the taxes up here and the break even point has got to be like 300 or 350k. And it's still going up. 2021 to 2024 will see the nfl pr salary go up 30ish percent. That could have a big trickle down effect here in the cfl. 
He turns 27 in January. So he's got a couple years before he ages out too. Mbt kicked around prs and training camps for a long time. Strevy could well do the same. It'll Come down to If he wants to play. Unless the nfl goes back to 3 qb rosters I think his chance to every play is slim. 
If he does come back and starts for a year or two he could go back to the nfl and have a better chance. But I don't know if he comes back up here to back up. I'd love to have him back though.

I'd say that the big winners of Semi-Final Sunday were Winnipeg and Toronto.
 
Both teams probably get their preferred opponents. And all 4 of the Semifinalists looked bad on the day.
