I realize there are a lot of comments regarding the game, the headbutt on Zack etc. However I wanted to first of all thank the folks that took my gang to the game in Regina (we came in from Calgary - stayed in Moosejaw). We had great seats with a bunch of long term Rider Season Ticket Holders. Very knowledgeable regarding CFL football and of course all were Rider fans. However they welcomed us Bomber fans with open arms and shared a few cold ones along with lots of good natured banter back and forth. The stadium (this is my second Labor Day Classic) is very nice. The food was good (for stadium grub). We had a big BBQ pregame so all I had was a few cold ones). Bottom line IMHO fans are fans everywhere and most if not just about all are good people regardless of the team they support.
Now on to the Banjo Bowl and here is hoping the Bombers lay a 50 point smackdown on the Riders!! PS I tried to get my boss (wifey) to let me drive to the Peg for the Banjo Bowl but I guess I overextended my allowance at the Casino in Moosejaw😩

I hear you - just checking in one more time before I head out to the game. We do a pre game lunch at BigT's BBQ and then head to the game. We go to the one in Mahogny vs by the stadium and then hustle to the game. Raining at the moment so everyone has their rain gear. Will be an interesting game if the field gets a little wet.

Just letting everyone know I am alright.... Ha ha. At 22 down, I was cold and soaked from the rain, and was considering heading out and getting to my hotel an hour east of town. Coorsman talked me into staying and, in the end, I'm glad I did. To be able to see that Lawler catch in person is something special...

Got to agree with most of the comments - we should come out of this with a victory as long as we do not take Edmonton lightly. And after the Ottawa fisaco I do not think we will take Edmonton lightly - Or at the least I hope so!

Yeah I’d say that’s where they lost the game as well. But they got a second chance and had the ball at the one. Go for the TD. If you make it your up by more than a FG. If you don’t make it Sask is pinned on the 1 and you have a good chance of getting the ball back with good field position and still enough time to get your FG.

I am thinking this will probably be closer than most folks would like however we should win this one. If we manage to screw this one up then yeah time for some changes.

I agree - I think this game will be close. Calgary is getting some of their folks back and I am still not sure what our line up will look like. I think we will or should win however it will be a very close game IMHO.

Kool Did not know that - I am the opposite - US born - went to SMU and played there (not all that good but did get some games in) - Went into the Army in the late 60's did my thing in Nam and after being mustered out came to Winnipeg thinking I could play for the Bombers (a few of my SMU team members had tried out up here) - Made it through 2 days of rookie camp and gave up the ghost (I was in great shape just not fast enough). However everything has a silver lining - I met my wife (51 years and counting) - got my MBA - Moved back to Dallas and then back to Winnipeg in 1981 (and have been a season ticket holder and Bomber fan ever since) - Note I now live in Calgary (took my business there about 15 years ago) - heck I even was one of the orginal members of TotalCFL (wonder if anyone remembers that site) and of course Colin Unger's (OurBombers) site.
