After we got torched for the td, we backed off.  Is respect the wrong word for that?

Just about everyone is saying that Dressler could have avoided it and was just a bad decision for both guys to lower their heads. So I think that's why there is no fine to Montreal.

Doubles could definitely play fullback, he is a tank.

I know as Bomber fans we're supposed to **** all over him but Durant is a good qb, if he's healthy that's a big plus for the Riders.

It hasn't been a secret that Jones wanted a committee approach to DE. Lots of rotation and fresh legs. If that doesn't work for Lemon, he won't be here long. I agree he has had problems being a good team mate in the past.

The simple fact is that if Willy had connected on a bunch of those deep throws the Als would have had to back off. You beat the blitz with execution and it simply wasn't  there last friday

By sending all those players out the way they did, they basically didn't allow ref to blow time in. I believe the ball was marked back five yards so they must have charged them with a procedure penalty, hence stopping the clock. Game can't end on a penalty.

Best Rod Black F-up is on one play he said " he was stopped in his tracks... after a 3 yard gain" . I kind of thought stopped in your tracks would be no gain.

That bum couldn't kick a 30 yarder when he played for us. LOL. I'm glad he made that one

Ottawa situation doesn't count even though I agree with you to a certain extent. They start out with a draft to help and have no salary cap issues. Every team is paying out a old contract or two or whatever. Ottawa started clean.  That being said, they have done a hell of a job of being competitive quickly and prove the point that a team can turn it around in a hurry

Except for the part that the Esks had them both and kept Franklin because he was clearly better.

The last game played at Taylor Field will be the most important game in the history of the stadium. The end of a era. The memories of days gone by will be missed. Children growing up and going to games and learning about the game we love. My dad died yesterday morning, he was 84, and a lifelong Rider fan. I remember him taking me to the games in the early 70's. I didn't understand what the Riders were about then but knew it must be a big deal as he would get so mad when we would lose. I'm pretty sure he thought the CFL should have folded when Lancaster retired. He was mad to his last day that we changed our uniforms from the originals. That is what pride is, that is what tradition is, fathers and sons passing the torch of fandom. I take my kids to Taylor field now and embrace every second of it. You either get that man or you don't. I don't think I could explain it any better. Fans of another team have no reason to care about rivals stadiums, but those fans should understand why said stadium means the world to those fans. We'll make new memories in the new stadium, some good, and some bad, it will just take time till it feels like home.
