I think the bomber knew that Strv17 wasn't going to be able to win the big games just running the ball.
it's a fair question.... O'Shea has shown extreme loyalty to his QBs in the past. When Nichols struggled mightily in the West Final last year, I believe 75 yards passing going into the 4th, he stuck with him.
That said... I think that there was some previous chemistry between O'Shea & Collaros, as O'Shea was a coach Zach's last year in Toronto (2013). You can see in the media the last couple weeks, there's a bit of a bro-mance with his new QB!

Ok...that's Manitoba alright.
can patrons just steal liquor at will without punishment!?

they don't want to under value them... but at this point, you've probably got a whack of angry season ticket holders who just want to offload them, and aren't allowed to! Patience may be a virtue here.... too bad my friends are worried this will sell out and want to buy NOW!! lol

is there a site (like a Kijiji) for Calgary where we'd find some of these tickets trying to be sold? I was told by the Stamps office yesterday that they won't activate their Ticket Exchange site until it's an official sell out.

With those Boeing planes getting taken out of service this year, airlines have been scrambling to keep up with demand as is, so I can't see them adding flights. Would be nice though!

Is there a team charter? Flights are insane right now.
I was looking up fly out Saturday back Monday, $950 on Westjet. Looks like making the drive with a few guys is gonna be what's happening. Not looking forward to the drive home Monday. Today's was bad enough, now it's going to be twice as long! haha

where are you guys seeing these cheaper tickets? A group of us are wanting to go, just working on some logistics and accommodations. I called the Stamps office today, and they say their "Ticket Exchange" system won't activate to help season ticket holders unload their tickets until the game is officially sold out.

It was an actual Al Bundy quote. Rebus nailed the response. It was the episode where Kelly was the SOPE girl in the locker room.
Al Bundy would give the most inspiring pre-game speech this Sunday with 2 simple words..... "Let's Rock!"

Possible I suppose, but I've never heard of anyone changing from a QB to another position in the CFL.
wasn't Sinnopoli the 3rd stringer in Calgary before switching to receiver in Ottawa??

Craig Dickinson was just asked if he thinks Fajardo can start on Sunday...his response, "I'm not sure."
(Well, that's definitely a different answer then O Shea would have given).
O'Shea also didn't rule out Nichols in the 5th week of his stint on the 6-game, right before he finally underwent surgery!

I won't be attending. Regina has gotten my 3 strike rule on attending games. I have had some good experiences over the years there but in the last 5-6 years I have had some poor experiences. I like the people of Regina, and if I were younger and looking for a party crowd, I would keep going. However, now middle aged, I find Regina just doesn't have the infrastructure to host events comfortably. I want to be able to stay in a decent, reasonably priced hotel that is near the stadium. I want to be able to get a cab without waiting an hour or hour(s). I want to be able to eat decent food without waiting a long time for a table. Therefore, I will be staying in Winnipeg where all of this can be easily accommodated.
For the same reason, I don't believe that Regina should be allowed to host the Grey Cup. I know that the NHL visiting media carved them up for the same reasons I have after the Heritage Classic.
what do you consider reasonably priced? I'm booked in a 10 minute walk from the stadium at what I would say is a pretty reasonable priced. I guess if you're going to complain about places being busy, then really really not going for the atmosphere of an event such as this. Do you expect places to be empty? I probably wouldn't want to go there anyways...

a little tape & an icy hot patch, and he'll be good to go! wouldn't even surprise me if this wasn't true at all, and a Belichek-ian voodoo mind trick!

Collaros just guided the team through a game where the Stamps had everything to play for... they didn't rest anyone, and the Bombers got the W. To me, there's no question that you ride with Zach. He's a much better passer than Streveler and showed some mobility as well when he needs to scramble. Just gotta hope he doesn't take a big hit, but if they can keep him upright, maybe, just maybe, Zach could be the saviour! It's all about getting hot at the right time, and after last night, everyone in that room has to believe that they've got the talent to go get to the Cup!

You know, it's not a foregone conclusion that the second he gets touched he WILL get another concussion. Hopefully no one decides to target his head just to increase the likelihood of knocking him out of the game.
given that Dickheadson made no bones about wanting to punish Streveler last week, would you really put it past him to tell his players to try and smack Collaros around. Hopefully the OLine has a hell of a game!

Bombers did play better but we have to remember that it was against a team that had nothing to play for. Streveler is still the Achilles heal of this team imo and everyone knows you can’t win in the playoffs without exceptional QB play.
and Fajardo didn't look too $*** hot in your game on Friday, so keep calling that kettle black there pot!

the weather is perfect.... so long as it's not windy, it's going to be a great day for football! Bombers have to win today to turn the season around. Win, and its setting up a 1 and done come playoffs!
I think the D is going to be fired up to prove something against the offence that torched them and started this whole tailspin! just Win baby!
-
willing to be Vernon Adams has never played in weather quite like this! That said, doubt Streveler has either. It's going to be Harris vs Stanback. I like our chances in a mucker of a game if the D can play like they did last week!
