Nothing you can do to get tendons to grow and stay in same ratio as normal athletic muscle tone....bigger you get the more strain they will have to take on...Musculature in a joint area such as shoulder....and thigh area for the knee can help in making them more stable but the tendons are just staying as is...and that extra muscle can inflict a lot more torque...When I fully dislocated my shoulder they actually had to pump me up with valium and then sedate me as the muscles around the joint were compensating to protect it and 4 people couldn't get it back in place... So its kind of a damned if you do...damned if you don't scenario for adding good lean bulk...you can somewhat protect a joint and have it more stable...but the tendons/ligaments themselves aren't stronger and a lot of times unbeknown to the athlete and therapists over time it can be slowly coming apart from all the stress they are under..and just go...like you see on so many non contact injuries...I have worked with strength and conditioning coaches' who are trying to figure out ways to pre-determine if a joint is failing and kinda do best they can for preventative maintenance but it's not a exact science by any means...shi8t just happens sadly M Hammies are weird as they are part muscle...and tendon...For one of my reconstructions a hammy graft was used to replace a ACL...As oppose to the earlier ways of getting the patellar graf which can cause issues in and of itself....Highly not recommended now for athletes still in prime, or kids in Highschool/college...if at all now...I think thats been stored away in the archaic files...but dont quote me

For what its worth, on TV they showed his ankle getting rolled up on after a scramble. I dont think its a hamstring issue this time.

the thing that always surprises me about Rourke is his breakaway speed. Seems like once a game he'll catch the D selling out for the pass and go for a big gallop. Where Fajardo or Collaros or Brown would get seven yards, he'll get twenty or thirty. Trying to remember a CFL guy who could pass as well as Rourke who also had the zooms. Rourke is way faster than Moon ever was. Ricky Ray was not a fast man. Calvillo ran like a barge. Flutie had all the moves but I think Rourke is faster. Alexander's an explosive and nimble runner when his hammies aren't tweaked ... but I was shocked at how good Rourke's top gear is.

U obviously havnt really observed the last 3 yrs...or really looked at the first 3 games..if cgy fielded the dline this week against us in week 1...we would be staring up from 0-3 Its not about the loss to the elks..but the total unprepared state to start..the roster on offence that crippled us due to 1 injury...players playing with lack of any urgency...or is it just lack of talent...is all right in line with the last several seasons of flopping...look at the whole picture.. not just selective bits of it...the 6 point loss flattered us more than signified we on right track or solid ground...if anything as history has shown will just confirm to osh that we are good and no changes are required in any area..I bet only change we see will be soley due to injury forcing it..and likely we see a questionable at best roster move..no changes for performance or lack there of tho.. I'll eat my hat if its different and take the verbal lumps from the boot lickers but I'm not too concerned about that happening

He's only been pro for 3 years, despite being drafted in 2018 (spent the next 4 years in college). Even though it's a small sample size (missed 2/3 of the season due to injuries), he ended up playing more games in the NHL than the AHL so perhaps he was on track to be an NHL regular? Worth kicking the tires on anyway.

The people in charge have made plenty of mistakes. I've never called them The Trinity & never will. I see a pattern is emerging that the HC seems out of touch with how to win in this league. The way he builds his roster. How he doesn't use the DI rules to the team's advantage. The CFL of 2026 is a different league than it was in 2017 & 18 when a much younger Osh & Bombers started their rise to the top. The league is different & those that don't adapt will get left behind. I think Osh is stuck in a different world as a head coach. Is he losing the team? Is his message starting to fall on deaf ears? It will if we don't start winning. We're on a two game losing streak. We'll see if things can be turned around. One of two things will happen. It either gets better or it gets worse.

All he does is produce at the highest level and win. Kid is crazy good. Philpott, Alexander, and Rankin could smash records this year. And the KRs in the league are going wild too. Vaval, Grant, McAllister, Pimpleton it could be the year of the return man. This start to the year should have the league thinking over some of the changes for next year.

I agree. Thought the Gus bus was a solid 4C and very good defensively and at the pk. Guess he wouldn’t clear waivers so trade him for a dude who will? I think dudeski might be an upgrade on Bryson tho. Maybe fleury also who has been really bad with everyone. St Ivany could be a late bloomer and 6 3 198 so he’s not small. 9 assists in 53 nhl games tho but 7 assists in 20 for Pittsburgh last year.

Sometimes its hard to see what they see...cause they have rostered a lot of sub par guys...still are Center wasn't an issue last game..thats the funny part..and seeing as Neuf wasn't hurt and will play this week...its obvious we need another playmaker on offence..eliminating having one at the expense of a canadian center who would do just fine is not really good rostering...even sadder is the fact based on ratio and our insistence on playing excessive canadians on defence which also aren't needed...we dont even have to go 3 canadian wr's even with 3 imoort olineman..thats how dense our coach is...just to prove some point which to me I have no clue what it is

Cause osh mentioned it...and if he is he not good based on the results Any player will make plays closer to the line as some poster mentioned.. thats inevitable...but I will agree that he is more effective in a role where we stack guys in the box...not as a starter He got paid top dollar for a SAM and if you look at all the SAM stats from across the league his stats pale in comparison..he gets the love from media cause Osh heaps it on him...what SAM in league last yr would you not want over Kramdi..there is none His 180k could have been way better used elsewhere and if he wasn't out there we wouldn't even notice...thats how vital he is But a top notch reciever..another olinman...a dominant interior guy..we would notice that tho...just another case of staying with the old and the familiar and a coaches favorite...not necessarily the best Other guys are too...but also if you know football a safety is supposed to..thats their job as they are to survey what they see and communicate it Just like the center does on offence..smart doeant translate into good... To them. they never make mistakes. They agee with everything they do even though cham;pionship success is going on 5 years ago. Total BS. These three put their pants on the same way we all do. They should have been put to pasture & fired last year but instead they're ineptitude was rewarded with 3 year contracts. And now, like the Elks were with Chris Jones & his long term contract that took years to expire. Or Ottawa with Bob Dyce. We are effed if this team fails.

IMO, and I've said this since last year, Alexander is 1a/1b Best QB In The League with Rourke. He just always gets hurt. But when healthy, he's as good as there is in this league right now.

You see where the problem lies... when we were winning grey cups guys like Kramdi were depth, now that not only is he a starter, he's seen as a top half of our Canadian starters it's an issue. I don't dislike the guy and I see the value he brings to the team and having him start is not the biggest issue... but he's gotta be seen as a weaker starter not one of the better options.

I had no issue with the Daniels fumble...it happens and he was trying to make things happen so I am sure he will focus on ball security more, and I like the fact we actually used him somewhat and made teams now see him as a viable option

Our Dbs are playing 12 yards off the ball, while we roll out 3 man fronts. The scheme is horrible. The best defence in the NFL couldn't make that work. Jordan Younger needs to fix this fast or be given a pink slip. We aren't getting to the QB, and are giving way too much cushion for any defence to be successful. Our run defence is atrocious but a lot of that is our alignment. If you are going to run 3 man fronts a lot you better bring out your beef LBers or today's CFL RBs will just run over them. Tony Jones needs to go back to MIKE, him at WIL makes zero sense and at least he is useful against the run at MIKE. Another problem is too many packages with too many players coming in and out, it is very hard to find any defensive success when we are subbing out multi players on every play. Guys aren't playing down hill because they are confused. That's on Younger, not on talent level. Nichols didn't suddenly forget how to cover etc.
