  1. I think it makes sense for both parties to wait on an extension. Next season the Bombers a losing some salary along that line, its very likely Neuf and Stanley are done for 2027, Eli is a guess imo, especially if they were able to draft a couple strong rookies. If Wallace continues to improve, you have the $$ to lock him up. If he doesnt improve, you can set his $$ at a better number. Its a risk either way, but I dont see the harm in waiting.
  2. This would be a great time to give him a pay bump and lock him in for another 2 years or even more. but it would make more sense for him to bet on himself and play it out. especially if he has a strong camp
  3. If I'm Walters, I'm not trading Wallace. We seem to lose our OL after their rookie contracts run out. We need to stock up.

55 should be in mvp conversations if jets get in. No joke. Dudes been beast mode day 1 and hasn’t stopped. How he didn’t make team Canada is truly beyond me.

I mean. Why. He’s a good coach actually. I mean dude coaches team USA a few years ago. I don’t have issues with torts. He’s refreshing. Vegas tho is a **** show. He’s politically incorrect and the world needs more of that. Guys like Blake wheeler said he loved playing for torts when he coached team USA so who knows. I think he just expects players to work hard and if they don’t he’s pissed. His issue is more media than anything. The media ask dumb questions. Him and Friesen would be fun in reality. He’d put old Paul in his place.

since we don't really have a thread for broadcasters I figured it should go in here

Thats if Wallace wants to stay here , he may have desires to go back closer to home. If were gonna lose him as has been the case with Dobson, Desjarlais, even as far back as Couture . then maybe we need to explore trade options. Other wise were just developing him for some one else.

Elgersma listed as inactive unsurprisingly. Has missed 20% of the UFL season waiting for his visa.

You can't win a cup with one line and a sometimes great goalie... It's truly impressive what Conner and Scheif have done pretty much by themselves.

we should sign him if we can to an extension. Compared to other teams we seem very reluctant to sign players to extensions other that Zac and Id much rather sign a young player with potential than someone on the down side of his career.. If we cant sign him then trading him for a high draft pick to select a replacement would be smart
  11. iirc this is wallace’s last year on his rookie deal. I would be open to moving wallace, but only for a younger equally high upside ni ol who will be under control for a while. Well that or a qb but i don’t think there is a qb on the market to make that deal. Vaccaro and henning are extremely high upside guys available. I hope that we grab one of those two.
  12. I like the Vaccaro pick for us and the OL future's pick. Not sure about that WR due to the reasons @wbbfan stated.

  14. Buck designed his own, and borrowed heavily from Lapo, when he was OC. The room working together during the season is not the same thing. That is tweaking the already existing playbook according to what the QBs have experienced once the playbook is in use. Same thing will happen once Condell implements his playbook. They work on progressions and tweaks according to the personnel that actually make the team. Structure, formations, and some progression design is usually by way of the offensive coaching staff.

What about Powell screams 7-8 year starter? He had a fairly unremarkable rookie season. Did well in the one game in 2024 before leaving the field in an ambulance due to a concussion and has thrown 12 passes since.
