  1. Past hour
  2. Jokes on you, the game summary I read that was negative about everything raved about Jake Thomas blocking the entire line by himself, already forwarded it to coach for his bulletin board
  3. On the broadcast they were talking about our D being faster this year but is it? Parker is faster than BA, Lawson and Adams getting more reps are faster than Jake and Schemekel but Kyrie, Willie, Vaughters um no.
  4. The rare athlete can maintain a high level of performance well into their 30's but damned few. I fear that Collaros' trend has been down for about two years now, and, worse yet, I can foresee O'Shea doing a Matt Nichols on him, trotting him out again and again even when Collaros is done like dinner.
  5. Good All our DB's All our LB's (that played) Wheetfall Eli with a TD...... Specials BC's Team Ted shirts 2and 0 Bad 2nd half Zach Didn't love some of teh play calls on O especially in the 3rd O-line wasn't great Willie getting himself ejected Clercuius had a bad game, no ifs and butts, if he is hurt sit him and let him get healthy Ugly Listening to TSN go on and on and on about Rourke.... Lack of depth at NI reciever-Clercuous played hurt and Demski clearly was hurting.....We need better depth here Lack of D-line depth....more specifically end....Willie and Vaughters are older, and while still good, I strongly believe they need to be spelled off more I also question the bolded part....I think each week that path is getting narrower
  6. He’s 2nd in the league in pr yards, despite all the other guys having a game played on him, and first in avg. he’s only got 3 ko returns but his 29 yards per is in the top group of guys. Most of whom have broken one and have 3-4 times more returns this year. Hes been exceptional so far, when he does break one he’s probably going to go on a run and have silly averages. Im interested to see what Logan can do as an offensive rotational guy, but if he isn’t healthy soon he might not have a path to make the AR. On top of that, vaval looked really good at times at db in pre season.
  7. That's two games BC has been unable to establish a running game with a pretty good running back, the defence as an entity is playing superbly.
  8. Griffen has been a beast but what position would he qualify as an allstar? Holm and Parker so good. Bridges seems to be weak link, beaten a number of times but Masoli couldn:t make throw
  9. Bombers +8 on net punting over Lions in the two games. Sheahan's net through 2 games would be 2nd in the league last season. But yeah, Bombers suck right?
  10. Parker.......had him self a gaaaame Griffen......star written all over him Wheatfall.....quietly becoming our go to guy .................Didn't see enough of the Cool kid....maybe next game if Brady is still on the mend
  11. I'm wondering if there is anything to the idea that the Dome is "dead air" and you need an extra 5 yards on throws/kicks..... Zach said in post game that it's on him to make better throws get the job done no matter what, but I'm curious...
  12. We need more pressure up the middle....Most of the time Masoli was playing pitch and catch....Offence seemed complacent after scoring the first 20 pts and seemed content to sit on the lead...Can't do that with the top clubs and walk away with 2 pts......Overall we were adequate.... Did not like our punter....Seems to lack leg strength when we need a deep ball....Not good enough
  13. The lack of pressure on Streveler could have had more to do with his ability to run. Dline has to contain him. Collaros, not so much. They know they can go after him and force mistakes. Im willing to let the season play out. But last night made me question (even more) the offer of a contract extension before the season started.
  14. Today
  15. Give Collaros the Game 1 OL and let's see. Streveler had near zero pressure on dropbacks, a bit of pressure on some RPO/rollout stuff they did because he's running stiff off the knee injury. He also put the ball up for grabs a bunch in those conditions, especially in the first half of that first game. He has a decent deep ball with no pressure and moves it out quick. Almost no intermediate game which Collaros lives on. The OL is the problem right now and the big difference on O between the two games. There's no consistent 4-5 yards on the run at BC, it's a big run or basically nothing. The Game 1 OL we had that run game with some bursts too, but Peterson was getting 3-4 yards before first contact almost every touch.
  16. Pearson needs to get a shot
  17. Our DL is so old... they desperately need an injection of youth and speed at the position. Lawson was the only guy being disruptive out there, everything else came from linebackers.
  18. Like: Parker ....actuall playmaker at S, has given this D a boost. Whole secondary looks very good. Wheatfall....stepping up nicely, as receiver threat, plenty of upside Griffin.....guided missile out there. How long until he's a regular on D? Vaval.....looks like a sleeper player......nice production as returner Meh: Zach.....2 TD, 2 INT......good reads, but at least 4-5 balls underthrown.....please adjust some play calls No Like: Defensive ends....not enough production: not enough depth 255 yards on O. Not good enough Inconsistent OL play.....one play good, next not so good
  19. Re-watched the game. Bombers D had very little push up the middle but overall D is solid. Special teams better than previous couple years. O looked lost for the most part. O line struggled and did not dominate. Here's hoping J Jackson can be honest with Hogan, Osh etc in his assessment of Collaros, who's clearly on the downswing in terms of arm strength. Let's face it, Strev has better accuracy and velocity. In some ways we were lucky to be facing Masoli or result could've been different.
  20. After only 2 games, Wheatfall is sixth in the league in receiving yards with 213 on 11 catches and he has the most 30+ yard receptions with 4. It's only 2 games but he flashed some moments of brilliance last year and he also had a great pre-season. He looks like he is for real. Trey Vaval is #1 in punt return average with 13.7 yards per punt return
  21. Does Osh realize that tho? Wr won...despite a less than optimal roster sp based on history no change will be made unless someone literally on crutches..nobody will get valuable experience and earn more playtime and it will invetibally bite us in ass when it really counts...we've seen this movie 4 yrs running now...
  22. Vaughters and Willie took way to many snaps pretty well ineffective, roster needs to add at least 1 more end
  23. I just watched the game, that 2nd and 3rd quarter on O was very stinky. Poor execution all around by many guys. I didn't mind the play selection , it was just bad o-line , a few bad drops, bad Zach.... everything looked very pre season like. It seemed like when BC was able to stop the run that the Bombers had zero answer. Zach looks as bad as he did in the Grey Cup and last season. Those lame duck ints were completely unnecessary. That first pic was underthrown in double coverage.... why? That 2nd pic was forced for no reason at all considering we had a big lead and didn't need to force a throw deep in our end so late in the game. I don't think his arm is shot like Matt Nichols but he definitely is having issues in his decision making and apparently his execution. The secondary did make a few mistakes but for the most part they swarmed and I really liked what I saw out of them. Same with Jones and Griffin at lb those guys were noticed on the field. D-line I specifically watched Jake Thomas for this game to see if maybe people on here such as myself are over exaggerating his play. I encourage anyone with PVR to rewatch the game and keep and eye on him. That guy was big brothered all night long and was comically out muscled and tossed around on nearly each play. He was also the guy who completely bit on the play action with Masoli that gave them one of their only positive plays. I watched Thomas run full steam ahead and crash and bounce back several times. The only time he was near the QB was when he was tossed around like a losing sumo fighter and he would somersault somewhat near Masoli. He was on the field way to much tonight and while Lawson wasn't an all star. At least Lawson wasn't pushed around and he made the one big play that resulted in an interception and he at least plugged the lane at times. Thomas was a pylon blowing in the wind... just completely useless. Zach can not play like a vintage Danny Mac gunslinger... I'd like to see him throw on the run more.
  24. People are happy to make excuses for him.... but Zach really needs to change the way he plays. He doesn't have the arm he used to to take the risks he does.
  25. 1 - Secondary 2 - Lb'ers 3 - Wheatfall Outside of Zach being off, Clercius had himself a really bad game. Thomas was awful as usual.
  26. Even less points if you subtract garbage time points.
