  3. I know it will be Tuesday before we hear updates but a few thoughts: 1. I hope they don't rush Schoen back. No medical knowledge but he just has not seemed 100% healthy all year. 2. A WR corps of Wheatfall, Clercius, Corcoran, Mitchell, Cobb and that kid we signed last month is horrible looking on paper and scary af. 3. Walters has dropped the ball on the WR position this year. Even if they had picked up Hollins and say Mayala, we'd be in better shape.
  4. Gotta go Brady as number uno....the guy was a bull out there ...domination on the ground Zack.......looked like his ol self....even ran like I haven't seen him do forever Person....like this kid and his energy....need a few more like him on the roster .........Liked the new db Allen...we could have come up with a gem....a little more game time and he should stick
  5. Lawler was a MASSIVE loss. It cannot be stated enough. Our offence looks completely different if he is here right now because he draws doubles all game or teams try match him up and he burns them. He is literally a game changer. Hollins was available a few weeks ago. This offseason there were a ton of good receivers available We either didn`t try for them or whiffed on them all....including our own Kenny Lawler. Our current receiving corps is just some really bad GMing, Gross incompetence almost.
  6. Much improved BUT still have a long way to go to reach the winning pinnacle the fans are used to.....Still not enough pressure on the oppositon qb....Should have had that green as grass Morgan totally on the ropes early, instead of putting up numbers on us early....Our receiving corps is definitely crippled now, especially after losing Demski....I hope he's back soon ...we'll need him for the Labour Day and Banjo for sure...
  7. Exactly right. People are criticizing MOS for doing what every football coach in the history of football does week in and week out. In order to replace veterans you have to have the players that will perform better than the veteran. Change for the sake of change is stupid.
  8. Very few are as good as a healthy Dalton Schoen - most #1s are not of his calibre.
  9. That's a pretty broad statement. Let's hear some facts to back it up. Compare roster usage around the league and you will quickly see how wrong you are. The only difference between OSH and the rest is his refusal to use the naturalized IMP. That is a big flaw for sure, Your assessment of Ayers is out to lunch. He was excellent in camp last year and was not kept solely for STs. We don`t dress extra DEs because they are ALL rostered already with the exception of Munier-Bailey. Some guys can transition to pros in a heart beat, some take longer. Not sure why any of us try to create artificial hard timelines on player development. Every player is different. Like it or not, the coaching staff knows a 1000x better than any fan whether or not a guy is ready for the friday night lights. There is more to it than just physical. You have to learn how to be a pro mentally as well. If that were true Biggie would be a Bomber, not a Stamp.
  10. I assumed that would be on the players... Interesting....
  11. Think that was on Hogan. Could see O'Shea yelling into headset that they needed to be on the ball.
  12. Today
  13. With experience and some semblance of success and was in a camp this yr?.....all I can think of is White Jr really.....Hollins was there for the taking.....Mayala and Hakannuva or whatever his name is...tho those guys be what you want for depth (better tha Corcoran anyway) but we missed boat on them as we stood pat thinking we were good They could have also seen how we roster guys here and declined too....there is that aspect and it wasnt like we were looking like a team on the rise
  14. Are there any Rec sitting at home the Bombers can bring in?
  15. 1. BO . Brady had his "**** this. I 'm carrying this team on my back" mentality 2. Zach - played well. Protected the ball. 3. Special teams - Sergio, Punter Guy, Vaval, Logan -- no gaffes , solid returns, and converted on all FG's / converts HH - Demski. Guy is having a great year. Hopefully he's g2g against the Gappers. Turd of the game - the friggen sirens and noise makers in the stadium.
  16. yEAH He was running more like last 2 yrs brady....must feel confident in his head he's back to near 100 percent....so ran like it again...was no self preservation there last night....and we gonna need it in the back half if we don't improve this receiving group. Can't see why they dont ask White back if he willing...definately help and there not a lot of options out there who you can just drop right in and trust Wilson I expect to see cut in the upcoming cut downs....hopefully he doesnt feel the need to waste a yr hoping for a spot on a PR and not get paid doing so...makes more sense to come back...get a nice pro-rated deal and gets some more film on himself.....could get another crack next yr....tho I think this was his one shot
  17. Subjectively they are a pile of ass. Ehhh, that is actually objectively too.
  18. He might finally be feeling right after getting a bit nicked up early in the season.
  19. That TD was a beauty. Didn't try to find a hole after he broke the tackle. Just plowed forward through the defenders.
  20. What i loved the most about Bradys game last night was the power he was running with. His TD run he got hit, shrugged it off and put his head down and exploded to the endzone. No one was going to stop him there even if they hit him. Dude has unreal strength. He was hitting guys all night when they tried to tackle him. Only way he went down is when dudes just held onto his legs.
  21. Brady had 73 yards receiving last night with 72 of YAC. Made a couple of really nice one handed grabs on some dump offs as well.
  22. reminds me a bit of the Nichols-Harris offense (and I don't mean that as an insult)... now if we could get the deep shot back into the game... we could be cooking again
  23. This is kind of my take away... Mtl's offense was a shell of it's normal self... and we gave up 13 points... not great against a 4th string QB... but not terrible Our O vs their D was basically health vs health (minus Dequoy and Schoen)... and then we were down to 3 viable receivers by the second half... we managed to put up 26 points and get the W To me, this game is a far bigger positive than needing 2 ST TDs to beat a bad Toronto team, at home, a few weeks ago...
  24. Brady being a safety valve for Zach was huge. Half of those receptions were of the check-down variety but were very successful.
  25. And he's playing hurt with his shoulder wrapped. Dude is a manimal....
  26. I’d like to see what he could do in the slot, we’ve seen he can deal with the tough stuff in the middle. I don’t think it would be the worst idea to switch Wheatfall and Mitchell for a game.
