I saw that and was taken aback.. Coaches are supposed to be above that petty bullplop. Pretty disappointed to see that..

But then again, its hamilton. They tend to be asshats every season lol.

Under "when will they learn", Chad Kakert continues to play like a cannonball, which is fine but cannonballs are made of steel.  Can't see him lasting this season either.

Of course the player Austin chooses to bump into is Stala.  What a spineless coward Austin is.  The Ticats are going to be like the Bills in the NFL....... four straight championship appearances but no wins.  What a joke of a team.

What is a bigger joke 4 Grey Cup appearances and no wins or 4 seasons out of the Playoffs? Seriously....bottle the sour grapes.

Looks like Stala was doing what Stala always does mouthing off. That was just a nudge to tell him to get off his sidelines. Hardly a big deal. Yeah, after what I've seen the past 2 seasons, I'd take Austin's passion over the smirking O'Shea who does nothing on the sidelines but stare off into space anyday.

Yes I saw it too. Austin will rationalize it in is head as he's a competitor. But if he really was self aware he's realize he's an ass plain and simple.

Don't confuse passion with being a jerk. Two separate things.

Want a example of passion? Dave Dickenson. He's passionate about the game, focuses on his team with little focus directed towards apposing team players. It's called being a professional.

Sorry ISO. That's not the behaviour of a head coach. As far as I'm concerned. Austin can no longer get upset with any cats player who gets penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.

anyone who believes Austin was ok doing this simply doesnt understand professionalism or respect in sports. a couch should NEVER deliberately hit a player...

even soldiers of the battlefield show respect to each other.. hitting an opposing player from behind no less... is unfathomable in my mind.

Mike Reilly is like a real life Tecmo Super Bowl player.... So entertaining to watch.

Calgary edm games been pretty entertaining.. Not banjobowl entertaining but good watchin none the less.

Great game by Edmonton last night in the pouring rain. Nice to see that Calgary is indeed beatable. Good fun to watch two good teams taking their shots at each other. Best game of the weekend so far.

Austin apologizes - but only after getting caught on camera. If a high school coach had done that "unintentionally" to an opposing player, he'd be suspended.

Didn't see anything live but watching that video it looks 100 percent intentional and Austin should get fined at the very least.

It's clearly intentional.  He would be better served to tell the league to fine him and get everything over with.

I was really hoping the BC vs. RB game was in Ottawa, the RB's play at a much higher level when they're in front of their own fans.  Here's hoping they put BC down.
