My guess is the coaching staff values experience over a guy in his first year who has only gotten PR reps.

I personally dislike leaving Simmons off the roster. It has to be some kind of warning/test to keep his mouth shut.

 

But I'm at least happy that Veltung has drawn in.

Hughes is out for the Stamps. That's good news.

It's hard to have confidence in O'Shea when he consistently makes the wrong roster decisions.

gotta eat my words. I pretty guaranteed Simmons would be on the game day roster. Wonder why he isn't.

 

Though I'm glad we are going to get veltung and Gordon on the field along with moore and denmark. Lots of speed!!!

Ugh...starting lineup at O-Line and D-Line is looking all too familiar, upgrading of these two areas has been glacial.

On the DL, is Turner seen as better than Collins? Turner has done jack this year. Peach makes some plays but what does it say when he's what we keep trotting out?

Maybe coaches seen more from Littlejohn than Simmons.

I got a feeling that we haven't seen the end Simmons issues just yet, just a change of venue.

Also got a feeling the moment that Wild becomes available, Simmons will be dropped from the roster.

O'Shea is a smart football man but he values things like intangibles more than he really should.

MOS loyalty to players, impairing his decision on putting up a better gameday roster.

d has played well over the last few games, not giving up alot of yards, we have been getting hurt on specials teams, we have a chance to win this sat night, should be fun to watch in the stands

I don't think I know more about football than MOS but evaluation of performance isn't as hard as you make it out to be. He deserves to be questioned.

So if Neufeld gets hurt...  Greaves will shift to RT and Goossen to LG...  again, might want to dress 7 OL

Looks like a roster full of 'grinders'... all we need is Chris King and Tie Domi

This talk about MOS' s loyalty to players ends, IMO, when the Coaches get together and go over the potential starting lineup for the team they are playing, taking into account, minor injuries, practice performance, past game performances, ratio issues, readiness and the game plan. We can question Turner over Collins, and such moves, but if we don't know the facts behind the reasoning, and, the defence is showing signs of good performance consistently, then what the hay, why can't it be done?

the thing that confuses me is Littlejohn comes in off the street and gets into the game right away... Simmons is a CFL vet, he had a full week of practice and he "isn't ready yet" according to Bob Irving... seems odd to me...
