June 23, 201510 yr So....if I was to boldly venture forth from the depths of my gentleman's cavern, some day....what place in town would provide a suitable venue for watching a Bomber road game? Comfortable environment and edible food would be preferred.....
June 23, 201510 yr Based on what I've seen, Barley Bros on Pembina is ideal... Why? Are there TVs under the tables too?
June 23, 201510 yr Well you could always venture to my cavern. Completely transformed my basement and bar into a Bombers lounge complete with a 116" projection screen and a fully stocked bar. Except the gin......you bring the gin I'll supply the tonic.
June 23, 201510 yr Just came into the possession of an autographed Milton Stegall Blue Bomber football, with display case. Now I have to build my entire basement around this priceless family heirloom. I am thinking of putting it on a similar pedestal as the one at the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark, complete with giant rolling ball. Just in the planning stages right now.

I have a signed football from the bombers Class of Mike Kelly.. I think that is much more pretentious then your MIlton Stegal ball..

June 23, 201510 yr I like Flea Whiskeys on Portage. Huge open space, an excellent kitchen, plenty of tv's including one projection screen, super foxy staff, and pool tables for intermission. Tough to beat in my books.
June 23, 201510 yr Based strictly on the ratio of TVs to tables, go to the Shark Club... Is the Shark Club in Winnipeg as ****** baggy as in Calgary?
June 23, 201510 yr Based strictly on the ratio of TVs to tables, go to the Shark Club...Is the Shark Club in Winnipeg as ****** baggy as in Calgary? I've never been to the one in CGY, but I will go with YES
June 23, 201510 yr Based strictly on the ratio of TVs to tables, go to the Shark Club...Is the Shark Club in Winnipeg as ****** baggy as in Calgary? I've never been to the one in CGY, but I will go with YES I've also never been to the one in Calgary, but YES.
June 23, 201510 yr Based strictly on the ratio of TVs to tables, go to the Shark Club... Is the Shark Club in Winnipeg as ****** baggy as in Calgary? Baggy? What the hell does "baggy" mean? 1. Too many old bags in this joint. 2. Girls are so young, this place smells like sh*tty diapers. 3. The Legion was full of old baggy men in old baggy clothing.. 4. Doesn't anybody own a belt anymore? 5. Going back in so I can bag me some more. Please help.

June 23, 201510 yr Ive only been to the sharkclub once played some blackjack and a few slots, is there a lounge in there? seems the casino aspect of it constitutes the majority of the space there
June 23, 201510 yr I can't believe how little coverage there is on the radio for the Bombers. Jets, Jets, soccer, golf, more jets, and not really much time for the Bombers. Very boring for a Bomber fan. I like Walby and Westwood, but I'm not going to listen to their pre/post game show. For me 1290 doesn't cover the CFL enough to tune it in, when they do cover it. so Cornish library dod?
June 23, 201510 yr Planning a BBQ pre-game on Sat, and then some fire-pit drinkin' afterward.....we've got highs around +30 here for the weekend (extremely high for AB) so it's gonna be a good'n!
June 23, 201510 yr I can't believe how little coverage there is on the radio for the Bombers. Jets, Jets, soccer, golf, more jets, and not really much time for the Bombers. I have satellite TV so I can get the Winnipeg stations, but I wonder why I bother as the Bomber coverage is usually around 2-3 minutes a night, on a good night. And by the time it gets to air, it's a topic that has been discussed to death all day here already anyway, so extremely old news.
June 24, 201510 yr Based strictly on the ratio of TVs to tables, go to the Shark Club...Is the Shark Club in Winnipeg as ****** baggy as in Calgary? I've never been to the one in CGY, but I will go with YES I've also never been to the one in Calgary, but YES. Having been dragged to both clubs here and in Calgary, I can say although the d-bag quotient is significant here, it does not match Calgary levels even on it's worst day. But not surprising, since I find that things associated with Alberta pretty much automatically are always higher on the d-bag scale.
