February 10, 201510 yr We have 2 new studs on the O-line, we added some Canadian depth Do we still go after 2 O-lineman with our top 3 picks? What is our new priority with our picks in this deep draft?
February 10, 201510 yr I would still go after olinemen with the top 3 picks. Can never have enough depth at that position. Need to be grooming them for the future. Also there is the injuries that occur throughout the season.
February 10, 201510 yr I could see them picking an OL at number 2 then trying to trade back into the first round for Demski.
February 10, 201510 yr Author I don't know how much change Walters has left in his purse but if we can yet get LB CURRAN from Edmonton that would have a big impact on our roster planning.
February 11, 201510 yr This draft is going to be hell in terms of the NFL issue. Would almost rather pick later in the first round.
February 11, 201510 yr Best available talent that is not going to nfl. Stockpile Canadian talent at whatever position works. Injuries occur and if overstocked can always trade for an immediate need.
February 11, 201510 yr A guy like Nik Demski who is almost certain to play in the CFL next year might be a more appealing pick at number two than someone who we could lose to the NFL as an UDFA.
February 11, 201510 yr For what it's worth, Walby was tweeting today that the Bombers should take Demski. Not disagreeing with those saying it, but I've got a hard time with not taking an OL with that #2 overall...

Not disagreeing with those saying it, but I've got a hard time with not taking an OL with that #2 overall... We're this close to repairing the damage done from past years…and letting O-Linemen walk, to arriving at a full house of capable? personnel. So now, we have to look to the future and drafting with the future in mind. The O-Line is a different entity onto itself and thank goodness Walters recognizes that. I like Demski - but I love the #2 position…for this year. They had a plan for free agency and now, with these new pieces in place, and possibly more, they'll formulate an attack plan for the draft. I'm looking forward to seeing them enact that plan.

I read this twice, and I still have no idea what exactly you're trying to say...it feels like you used a whole lotta words, and some weird Left-Justify formatting to say a lot of nothing. Ha ha...what exactly was your point?

February 11, 201510 yr Demski now at 2. OL at 11 and maybe 15 but maybe later even. As in OL at 11 but maybe a lb or dl at 15
February 11, 201510 yr I think MR. Dee meant get an o lineman. I can tell by the left justify he used. I am hoping for an O lineman.
February 11, 201510 yr I would take Demski at 2 and Varga at 11 or 15. I think he'll be worth the wait.

February 11, 201510 yr Somebody on another thread, and Troy Westwood this A.M mentioned that Dile (sp) was injured a lot in the last two seasons Which means they need to get another O lineman in the draft.

Why does that have any bearing on draft needs? We're not going to draft a tackle capable of starting this year.
