Condell's scheme is basically all within 15-20 yards of the line of scrimmage so the D is just bunching up their coverage in there. And like 80% of our dropbacks not run threat in there at all so all the guys with gap responsibility other than the rushers can just lock on their coverage responsibility. I mean even if you jet one receiver through the backfield to give the visual and be a checkdown at least you're drawing down 1-2 defenders to think about it.

No challenge on the deep zones to create space in that area either.

Just horrific to watch as a fan of a team.

Only way that can work is if you're amazing at quick timing routes. We don't even have the receivers to run that. We have a bunch of mini speed receivers, no possession guys, no vertical threats in coverage.

Brown was awful. End of story. You can make all the excuses you want, that doesn’t change the fact that the first interception was the result of a piss poor throw, and that he threw the ball into tight coverage over and over again. He needs to make better decisions.

That being said, I am not a Brown hater. I think he’s a good QB who just had a bad game. Happens to the best of them.

Totally agree that Condell called a bad game tonite and we ignored Brady way too often early in the game. However, I do understand passing more later in the 2nd half when we were down by 2 tds because our D and STs gave the Stamps easy TDs. Plenty of blame to go around.

I think Brown ****** around in that Ottawa game and got away with it... Today he found out. You can't make decisions like that against a team like Calgary.

The entire focus of building the O game plan for BC should be how we are going to protect and implement a vertical passing threat, and how we are going to make sure we have a run threat on every single snap (and use it).

Our OL is a mess. They got the crap beaten out of them tonight. Losing Broxton really hurt. Why would they put a pylon like Wallace at RT in his place? He was a second later than the DE off the ball. wallace isn't a tackle. It was so obvious.

The Stamps DL just kept eating the Bomber OL & it wasn't even close. One of the worst pass blocking performances I have ever seen as a fan going back 60 years.

I have no idea what Brown was thinking throwing the ball. Forcing the ball downfield all game. He has to learn patience. We were beaten in all 3 phases of the game tonight.

Then Special Teams. My Gawd. No one seems to be pointing fingers at Mike Miller the STC. Has he been a great coach? I'm not convinced. He seems to always be hanging around Osh so he's in every camera shot on the sidelines.

Very disappointed in the outcome but this does look like a team on the decline. I think we're seeing the outcome of poor drafting the past past 3 or 4 years as well as the loss of key free agents the past few years by Walters as well as personnel decisions by Osh all coming to roost. Allowing players to play as long as they want even if their performances are in decline. God Bless the Trinity. We still have 2 1/2 more seasons left of this.

Bizarre game. It kind of felt like the game tilted towards the Bombers in the 4th but back to back interceptions put an end to that.

Despite their best effort, with what, 10 minutes left in the game they were only down 12, with 4 interceptions, a missed field goal return, a blocked punt, numerous long TDs against.

Not much good about this..right outta the shoot exactly what I said earlier happened...Holms exposed early and often on his lack of physicality and poor tackling..it wasn't just a bad game..its fact..further exemplified also with that first play of second half td..he was the 4th guy to whiff as 3 others did before it got to him...and leads to my comments our secondary/backend save for Griffin and Woodbey are a bunch of undersized pusssies and would have a hard time corraling some JUCO wr groups I work with in SoCal..just pathetic and embarrassing...and you have Smuggshea with zero accountability in any of it..or holding anyone accountable..just keep it as is..if for anything I would..or any hc who has any control over anything should have put in Vaval snd Jackson next series for any 2 of the useless turds..take your pick to send a message..but he is a gutless coach and won't.. same with some of his typical in-game decisions...just weak and sad...should have never reupped him as his time is done and his roster managemt and who choose to keep is just like I said it would be...again

Sure Dru made some bad throws...but made them to a collective group of bad recievers..much like our dbs..soft..weak..none in the mold to win any battle..or stretch a field..won't battle for any ball...i feel for our qbs..no layered routes..no dynamic guy...and waste your rb with endless reps out wide..totally taking him out of things and being no threat whatsoever..he probably thinking..wtf did I resign here.

Our coaching is atrocious and killing us...maybe stop taking extra days off of practice and use your full amount required..maybe the tackling could become a thing...or look prepared...maybe some physical practices would help recievers learn how to win a battle

We ran so much with the rb out wide took any threat of run away...eliminated an outlet/dumpoff if nothing was there..and basically zero layers to our routes..nothing to clear space out..basically created something that was simple to blanket coverage..so basically he had to throw into coverage..or throw before anything developed...or get clobbered

Plus we have no guys who are gonna win many contested battles..or actually seem to know how to make a play on a ball or when and how to come back so the db doesn't have an easy time breaking it up..or actually making a play on the ball...none out guys attack the ball..they just waiting for it to hit their hands..

Nope, that wasn't my point. My point was so many here just couldn't wait to trade Collaros after Brown arrived. Those same people seem very quiet now after what happened last night.

Also, if you saw my previous posts related to the game's outcome you'll know I commented on how poorly our OL played. Maybe the worst I've seen in 60 years as a fan. Certainly right up there with the **** we saw in 2013, 14 & 15 when Drew Willy was sacrificed. How stupid it was to line up Wallace at RT. How Walters let talented former OL leave in free agency in previous years without seeming to care cuz he didn't want to pay. How some players have been allowed to keep playing when they should have retired from the OL years ago. I'm talking about Neufeld & Bryant. Just like JT was allowed to keep playing even after he couldn't anymore. That's on Osh.

All this is now catching up to The Trinity. And they're all under contract for anothe 2.5 years. Brown still played like **** showing absolutely no patience & forcing the ball in to his targets. Wanting to get back into the game in one or two big plays which isn't how it's done. Our game plan under Condell sucked.

The Trinity happened. They got fat, lazy & arrogant. They stopped working hard. Walters lost his edge as a GM. Osh played & still does play his favourites. He just politicizes the roster. His faves play. Other guys never get a chance. With McManus, we have many roster deficiencies that never get solved.

Last November, a group of us here said this was going to happen. That we needed to move on & clean house. But oh no, we were told to shut up cuz we can't lose The Trinity. The World would end. Now we're stuck contractually with these guys. Anyone think Osh will change? Walters? That McManus is suddenly going to become a Super Scout?? This is it for the next 2.5 seasons. Get used to it. We've seen the same **** in Edmonton & Ottawa over the years.

The offensive line’s play doesn’t excuse Brown’s piss poor decision making. He had a dreadful game and was without a doubt one of the main reasons the Bombers lost. You can’t win throwing four interceptions, simple as that.

The boys had a good helping of crow last night and when they look in the mirror all they’ll see is a team that doesn’t have the skills to be a 500+ team.

I know that football is cyclical, I get that. Nevertheless watching the team this year is a huge burn because they built a top-tier football club and let it go to mediocrity (at best)

Scouting, front office personnel, coaching. It’s all been frittered away.
