First two games of th year, the offense looked incredible. Then we were on bye week. Third game it was okay but the OL was in disarray so it was a struggle but still decent. Then Collaros gets hurt early and we're playing a CIS QB in his first ever game.

Let's maybe dial back the Condell Sucks! rhetoric for a moment...

He's got a long enough resume that proves it.

How can you not pump VA up when he throws 5 TDs and runs for one?

I guess I could've included a little context... pumping his tires for that one game? absolutely... one of the best CFL QB performances we've seen in a while... but the panel was saying things like (to paraphrase) "VA has finally come into his own, this is what we will see week in and week out, he's finally put it all together and figured out defenses, etc."... him having a great game is no surprise, but acting like "he's arrived" just ignores the 10 years he's been playing in this league...

We need to correct the o-line woes (Bryant sits?) and get one more quality receiver. I think with just a small amount of changes it would make a large difference. Also we need to run more often... as in all game long.

as much as I love the GOAT, Big Stan... I've mentioned a few times that I thought it was a mistake not to move from him after signing Broxton...

I mean, I would consider that if Hamilton was indeed willing to trade starters/AR. Not draft capital. It would have to be extremely expensive on Hamilton's end. I would do the same for any player on the roster; if we got a lopsided value back, no one is untradeable. If we can fix the 2nd DE, defensive backfield, and WR while getting Canadian depth? Sure. Hamilton isn't likely to do that, but if they are, go for it. Talking something like howsare, Stubbelfield, Stavros, Gittens etc. Not for some pack of 1 player and picks or less.

Otherwise, I'm very happy to be sitting on the QBs we have. Having Brown + Elgersma for the post-Zach era is going to be key.

That'll be fun to watch develop, won't it?

You bet. Idr the last time we had 2 top tier young qbs like this with such a good floor and ceiling.

Dieter Brock & Harry Knight.

He’s our new JT. (insert sad face).

Two things should have been done for the Bombers. Tell Stan that it's time & then give him a send off like we've never seen before. Sign a free agent LT. as Broxton would have taken Stan's spot. As well as more free agent receivers. We desperately need one more starter & depth.

another nice hold

randolph should’ve stayed the rt starter and broxton should’ve stayed the best lt in the league.

At this rate, if bryant plays the whole season none of the qbs will last.

For every good move The Trinity makes, they make 2 that aren't. Hey, let's strengthen our RT position but ignore Big Stan who has become a huge liability They let Randolph go to FA when Broxton at LT & Randolph on the right would have strengthened our OL so much at the tackle positions. But nope, this warped sense of loyalty on Osh's part just keeps happening. (SMH). Proves Walters & Osh are human, Not some kind of deities capable of parting the Red Sea that some around here seem to believe they can do.

Randolph stinks in pass protection. Letting him go is a non-issue. Letting Bryant continue on the roster is an issue. Not surprised the Argos were interested….look at how our DL handled them last night. When’s the last time our DL had a game like that? 2023?

Bryant is not what he was, but hige liability is just incorrect. He was better than either of TOs tackles and can still play at a high level. He just isnt dominate anymore

BIG Stan has had his day....his ride into the sunset has been delayed by a coach who has a problem of not letting go of the past....in certain instances

If the guy stunk he wouldn't be in the league, C'mon, man.

it isn’t. he’s been getting badly abused in every game this year. He leads the league in pressures allowed

If he sucked at pass pro he wouldn’t have instantly been picked up and started when cut.

Highest rated bomber ol in pass pro, top 4 in the league last year, career pass blocking specialist.

I think this is part of the problem. He set such a high bar that a drop in play is going to be very noticeable and have people freaking out (myself included).

After seeing how bad the Argos LT was, it made me back away from the ledge a bit. He's not the best in the game anymore and that's fine, because he's not the worst either.

Randolph was terrible in TC and was cut for his efforts, or lack thereof. Not saying Bryant is playing great but Randolph would not have made us stronger. Time to start looking for a new OT tho.

All I know is Marty Costello is probably the best OL coach in the league. I'm gonna let him decide what to do.

Where do you find pressure stats?

he hasn’t been dominant for two years. This isn’t him dropping off from great to good, that happened a while ago.

pff but it’s pay walled. Snaps etc too

Bryant is def not waht he was...Pretty sure we wont see anyone like that again

That being said last night he wasnt that bad...every guy gets beat, and I willing to give him until Labour day to see if he just took a lil longer to get back to 80% Stan...

I still think that if we shifted Broxton to LT...slid Stan inside and for now tried either Elsbury (who has played tackle) or Vpool at rt and Eli at center would give us a real good brawling oline. Elsbury has been decent in parts of his game....but man last night he had a ton of poor snaps...like consistent low and off center...thats a good way to get someone injured in the backfield...not to mention mess up the timing which we saw. Eli's game at center after the first series where communication with him and Ellsbury seemed off was just fine....We be no worse off with him at center...christ we rolled out Kolo for 4 yrs and he was worst in league

I think Stan has it in his head he needs to bounce outta his stance quicker than before now and he is not set in his solid stance cause if it...so it's easier get juked...He's still solid in the short yardage and jumbo, and you still see him up field in runs doing food work...a move inside would do both him and the team a solid

Hopefully we see at least Cline show up here at some point after labour day, or even better Manu...Imagine if both do...damn...You could almost instantly have 4 nationals on the oline again with Broxton anchoring LT

Stan looks as worse then neuf did before we shut him down for injuries the other year. Thing is it’s harder to hide at T and he doesn’t seem injured. Teams are game planning for him now to exploit it too.

Elsbury took one step forward and two steps back last night. He did a much better job getting down field in the run game and showing some nastiness, the inside wasn’t the sieve in pass pro, but his snaps were bad and he wasn’t winning one on ones with dl. He plays surprisingly small for a guy his size and athletic level. For such a big athletic guy to continually end up inside is a red flag.

Vanterpool wasn’t great at T before pre season this year, but he did play really well in ps.

Poncius could be the long term solution at rt but he isn’t likely to see an ar this year and get a chance to develop.

The blocking depth on the ar isn’t where it needs to be either. I had hopes for vibert that he just hasn’t been able to live up to in game. They seem decided on never starting eli. Daniel’s is only an asset if he’s blocking a much smaller position, and only two guys are road graders on the roster.

We really need to get atleast one of those two up here. Hopefully Manu.
