I don't blame Elgersma one bit. The insane NAT draftee 3 year entry level deal is a joke.

In my humble opinion, the CFL, especially Commish and his team, need to do a way better job at providing an environment and market where elite players know they can carve out nice careers in the CFL and spend less time f'ing around with the rules ffs.

Elgersma will be here when he gets here. Not worried about that at all. He's got an agent blowing sunshine up his arse right now, so let's dial it back a bit about how he will never play here. Reality will set in, and he will come.

Careful, don't you know there are people on here who know better than he does what's good for him? Sure they've never met him, but they know exactly what he should be doing with his own life, and if he doesn't it's because he's a pompous ass.

He's a southern Ontario boy so I'm sure he'd sign with Hamilton or Toronto. We may have to trade his rights. Hopefully not & he comes to his senses.

Maybe trade with toronto or ott. Our first, and third for their first and second, be nice to swap a global pick to move up too.

We can go 3 NAT receivers but there is no requirement to do so if we go 3 IMP OL. We can make ratio in other places or even use the naturalized IMP rule.

A nat imp offence x-factor/wr would be a fantastic fit.

Sounds like we are planning on going with 3 national receivers, if they aren't happy with Clercius I'm not sure how that will work, but the benefit of giving Zac better protection with 3 imports is definitely necessary

Do not like how he lumped Corcoran in with Clericius. Clercius is a wr with tremendous raw tools who has caught everything thrown his way. Corcoran is like Wade Miller on a low-battery mobility scooter.

Yeah that needs to be revamped

Yeah Corcoran shouldn't even be in discussion as a starter option..depth on the PR if one of Demski..Neild..Clercius or Cobb (who should be the main backup on roster as he fils multiple roles) gets hurt

This love for a guy who'd make Rudy look like an All Pro is maddening.

For some reason or other Kyle seems very high on Corcoran. Just wish I knew why.

Despite his shockingly bad test numbers, he was a reasonably productive rec in the US. Maybe there’s something there.

Listen I'm no fan of Corcoran. But he did everything asked of him last year. He caught basically everything that was catchable. He's not going to be a star WR, but he's more than adequate as a back up.

I'm not against the guy, I just have not seen him offer much of anything when he is in the lineup. Would love to know what they see in him. Not saying there isn't something there it's just not obvious.

Sure. But if we are going 3 NAT receivers then he should not be front line depth. It is essential that we have a guy who can produce if that is our plan. Just a body is not good enough. No different that Jake Thomas the past few years, if we had kept him down to 8-10 snaps a game no one would be complaining but he got thrust into a starting role and became a glaring weak spot for us. Are you comfortable with Corcoran coming off the bench to be a potential starter if any of our 3 starting NATs go down. I'm not.

100% but again...he has produced when needed. I think they can and should find a more adequate depth piece....but Corcoran is taking unnecessary shots

It's not a shot. I am hoping he develops into something more, but he's not there now. We need to add some proven NAT receiver depth.

We need to draft a wr this year, who is actually a primary pass catcher with potential to start and be average or better.

Cobb is at least average for a backup WR. With some attributes. Its insane that they put Corcoran above cobb and on par or better than clercius.

Outside of the usual WR suspects who are still avialable on the free agent list where's that WR out there that we could get right now insert him into our lineup plug play nicely ends with him accepting his rookie of the year trophy? I assume this is way to high of an expectation to have but hey one can dream as the saying goes.

Corcoran's college numbers weren't amazing and it was lower level NCAA D1.

Yeah that we started Corcoran shead pf Clercius in grey cup was maddening. When we signed Nield I thought wed fixed our Canadian depth issue, but if were having Corcoran on the game day roster then not so much

In pre season last year all Corcoran did was make play after play... Saw him making catches everytime he was targeted. I had very high hopes for him, and he just didn't produce in the regular season. Hoping year 2 he progresses.

Corcoran was a rookie so you know gotta take that into account. Wasn’t great, wasn’t as bad as people pretending. Dude was a rookie in a hogan O. Think he deserves a shot at camp. I mean. Do ppl expect the backups to be superstars also? Like jets fans thinking all the moose guys aren’t just nhl depth? lol. I mean. Demski Clercius nield Corcoran Cobb likely drafted receiver here ain’t that bad. Could be the best Canadian receiving group in the league. Corcoran isn’t terrible depth. If he’s starting over Kevens it’s crazy but he’s not terrible depth.

Corcoran as your depth, 5th or 6th NI receiver is ok but as a starter no. @Noeller , go back and look at the pre season game box scores, he didn't do much in either. He just seems to be another guy that works hard with lesser talent that Osh fixates on.

he was horrible in the blocking and run aspect of his role tho...also did nothing after the catch...and really scared nobody...If we going 3 Nats he cant be one of them...We'd be better off using MCI as a fulltime FB/TE type guy.....and actually I wish we do....He'd offer wayyyyyy more and would have to garner attention...Corcoran would garner as much as one of the posters here out there running routes...I bet there are some faster

This just another case of Osh and Walter's by extension trying to make some marginal player they love to be something....Like Fetch.....hahaha.....he is now known as Fetch

he scares nobody and garners even less attention out there...as after the catch he does absolutely nothing....I'm sure he tries hard...guys like him...the usual drivel we fed but at this level and as a pro on a roster you should be trying hard, and relatively liked...or why the **** u even here??
