JohnnyAbonny Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Does anyone else see that Streveler is not recovered from injury? His throwing has always been a little different looking, but this year it seems to me he’s for whatever reason not putting anything from the core or legs into throws, it’s all arm and shoulder. He doesn’t run with the same power as before either and his lateral movement is nonexistent.

I mean I admire your admiration for the guy but you are smoking crack. He threw 8 passes and 1 of those 8 was a pick. He completed 3 passes. He threw 1 pick. 3 completions and 1 interception. Like open your eyes. Last week his 2 picks = 14 points against. Dude is a liability throwing the ball. Oh he had 72 yards running tho. Which is 18 more than he had passing. Are you for real. 72 plus 54 = zachs passing numbers at half. All I'm saying is when Brady runs for 2 or 3 on first down they're not going to call a qb draw on 2nd down for collaros so the passing numbers automatically go down. And he had drives end because of drops which were catchable. People are real quick to just **** on Streveler because it's the simple thing to do. Our offense though is fundamentally broken no matter who's at qb. Streveler looked the best as a rookie before coaches decided that he should be a runner who can throw. Bigblue204 and Noeller 2

The simplest explanation though is simply that the receiver was on the wrong spot because who designs a play to put a receiver and a db in the way of someone else? To me if Wilson takes his route deeper into the endzone that's probably a td pass. A vastly under qualified OC using the old junior varsity playbook he created years ago in Quebec? Booch 1

rebusrankin Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Streveler looked good against BC. He looked terrible against Toronto, Hamilton and Ottawa. So 3 bad games as a starter out of 4. He looked terrible against Calgary, Toronto and Saskatchewan in relief. He's been awful and yet people keep making excuses for him. Collaros has the same oline, WRs and OC and he's looked light years better than Streveler.

Collaros looks like crap in this offense too, and even when he does look good, the offense is still largely ineffective, but people fall all over themselves to make excuses for it because collaros is infallible because of what happened in 2019 and 2021. He was tasked to come up with a game plan for a QB that cant pass. Limit the passes and run the ball all day. What else was he supposed to come up with? Let Streveler drop back 30+ times and throw away the game? Some run variations tho..pitches...swing pass...misdirection... His running calls are so bland...predictable...lack any situational awareness at best of times...there's also a ton of pass options too to help a non proficient passer...I get your point and agree...tailor a gameplan to your players...but he doesn't even do that Piggy 1 1

Actually I'd say people like yourself are falling over themselves to pump up Streveler. In four starts, Streveler has 4 td passes and 7 picks in his four starts, while passing for 178 yards per game. In the 6 games he started and finished Collaros has 11 td passes to 5ints, while passing for 269 per game. Overall Collaros is at least +2 (13 td passes to 11 ints), while Streveler is -5 (6 tds to 11 ints).

You can't discount how drastically they handicap the offense with streveler in there. You ever see collaros being told to go run up after Brady and block? Noeller 1

And give them a full playbook (assuming they don't - none of us know for sure!) Well, we already had that, right? Playbook, receivers, a young Canadian OL in Dobson. the best deep threat in the CFL in Lawler & an OC in Buck Pierce who while could be predictable at least knew what he was doing. Instead of hiring JJ, Osh ist Osh & promotes Hogan. Who took that all away? Your Canadian Mafia you keep pumping up your chest about. Edited 3 hours ago by SpeedFlex27
Gail Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago 5 hours ago, Bubba Zanetti said: Obviously the o-line and the play calling this season could be better but Streveler cant f**king pass. Thats the biggest problem. I mean its not that he cant hit the deep ball, or wide side, etc. He cant throw a f**king 10 yard pass properly for christs sake. Its time to throw in the towel and just admit the guy is/was a gimmick QB all along, that got hot in 2019, and now his gimmick(running) is mostly gone which makes him basically useless. If CS is as bad as you say, why was he even out there? They had 2 other QB’s dressed, yet neither saw the field. How about we blame Osh, he’s the one who named him starter. The coaches have had all season to assess the roster and plan for injuries. If CS is the best they can come up with, that’s on them and the GM.

Wilson is healthier and at this point a much better runner then Strev. So nothing to lose and everything to gain. Not a single highlight of Strev making a completion.... just highlights of him holding onto the ball getting sacked, running up the gut, throwing a death pass , and a singular good running play. Insanity that they didn't give Wilson at least 2 series to see if he could do anything at all. Veteran qb with proven track records get pulled for playing much better then what Strev did... I'm 100% ready for them to clean house with the O and get rid of O'Shea. I'm ok with Younger and keeping Walters to see if O'Shea was the issue.

The qb is the leader of the offense. We can’t replace the oline and receivers and oc during the game. Put TW in to allow CS to reset a bit. If TW falters (yes maybe he sucks) put CS back into the game. To suggest that no matter who we put in doesn’t matter because of our oline and receiving core is over the top. CS at times had time to throw. What were his stats today against a very bad Ottawa team? Edited 2 hours ago by HardCoreBlue
Bomberguy Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago One more thing, if Crumb comes into that game we lose 😳.
