Strev looked pretty good against BC in our first game of the season right? I don't think he's changed THAT much from then to now....

...I'm just putting that out there as a piece to the puzzle that none of us truly understand.

He had 2 weeks to prepare. They knew Zach wasn’t playing well in advance. I think it comes down he’s just not a good QB and that bc game was an anomaly

Not sure why everyone is dumping on Hogan after this game. He was tasked to come up with a game plan for a QB that cant pass. Limit the passes and run the ball all day. What else was he supposed to come up with? Let Streveler drop back 30+ times and throw away the game?

Start Wilson.

My post count would be significantly less without sarcasm! 😂

But you do it in good times and bad.  You’re golden brother. 👊

Let’s test that theory. Put in a serviceable back up QB in and see what happens.

How about we give Strev (or Zach) a serviceable OL and proper receivers... And give them a full playbook (assuming they don't - none of us know for sure!)

You and I must have different senses of humor.

Hmmmmm can’t do that mid game so how’s about throw in your 2nd stringer to see if he can do anything, at the very least let CS watch the game from the sidelines. If TW falters after a couple of sets put CS back out. There was absolutely no momentum no confidence with CS in so putting in TW is not going to break anything.

Ol wasn’t perfect, but he had time today. A lot of those sacks were him running up the gut into the rush.

Exactly, as ugly as it was, the game plan worked. What is Hogan supposed to do with a completely incompetent QB at the helm?

It's very interesting to me because I don't know how we prove either take as correct. Hogan or Strev.... I don't have a dog in the fight. But how do you prove either?

Fair enough, but from my perspective, giving Streveler a ninth throw seems more likely to result in another sack, interception or suicide pass to a vulnerable receiver as it is to result in a positive gain. He has absolutely zero pocket awareness or improvisational ability.

You really think that was streveler and not Wilson being in the wrong spot bringing a db right into Wheatfalls path?

It's not either. It's both.

I need to see it again but that looked like the definition of a suicide pass. Seems odd to blame Wilson in this case. Receivers are not allowed to block before the ball is caught.

Rewatch the entire play...

I don’t think the Bombers win with 10+ passes thrown, the way Streveler is playing.

Could have also been a poorly designed play call that brought two receivers close together.

That was a horrible pass by Streveler. I was yelling "Wtf are you doing?!" while it was still in the air. That was either getting picked or getting someone killed.

That’s clearly not his call. Thats on O’Shea.

How was the stadium experience for that one?
Btw congrats on your first road win. I’m 0-3 myself.

You know how you know it’s Streveler. Cuz Zach has never thrown under 10 passes in a game. Except when he’s been hurt early. And it’s the cfl. No QB throws 8 passes all game. They have no confidence in his ability to throw so gotta wonder why the **** is he playing. Cuz he inspires Vaval to return a missed fg. ??

Vaval sees Strev sucking and goes I’m gonna need to win this.

D goes we need to step up so let’s go out and give up almost 500 yards of O ?? I don’t get it.

Your also not going to be expecting collaros to run and block as much as streveler so this is a silly argument to make.

Yeah that's an option too. The simplest explanation though is simply that the receiver was on the wrong spot because who designs a play to put a receiver and a db in the way of someone else? To me if Wilson takes his route deeper into the endzone that's probably a td pass.

Dude. Honestly. Collaros is 100 times the qb Streveler is. Tell me what has Streveler done in the cfl since 2019. I mean I admire your admiration for the guy but you are smoking crack. He threw 8 passes and 1 of those 8 was a pick. He completed 3 passes. He threw 1 pick. 3 completions and 1 interception. Like open your eyes. Last week his 2 picks = 14 points against. Dude is a liability throwing the ball. Oh he had 72 yards running tho. Which is 18 more than he had passing. Are you for real. 72 plus 54 = zachs passing numbers at half.

Does anyone else see that Streveler is not recovered from injury? His throwing has always been a little different looking, but this year it seems to me he’s for whatever reason not putting anything from the core or legs into throws, it’s all arm and shoulder.
He doesn’t run with the same power as before either and his lateral movement is nonexistent.
