IF Streve can't go next game, we may see Wilson.....bout the only way the guy sees the field....Watching Osh on the field in Ham, you can see in his face 'oh boy this ain't working' expression....yet he does little or nothing in game time to try and rectify the situation...He seems as lost as the club around him ...

What would you have him do in game out of curiousity?

Our Dline isn't very good. Vaughters hasn't done much. Willie is past his prime and overrated at this point. Jake and Kornelson shouldn't be on a pro roster. Lawson is ok. Pearson is ok.

I think we could all live with Lawson and Jake splitting one spot. And then some better depth all around on the line.

It's really just that simple. Jake gets gassed real fast.

Well here's one ....how about replacing the starting qb who was faltering badly and just trrrry inserting the backup in that game ....Change of pace could have done a lot....but standing there and watching your team struggle, with no plan, if Streve wasn't getting it done. was pathetic

Lawson...and a young guy...or just a rookie import if we only need 1 Canadian on field...which generally is the case with how we set our roster

We also need to adjust the ratio and not be so rigid with it and have these set positions regardless...causes us to roster inderior guys...and also let better players walk out door...or just get cut...to adhere to our ratio

I sure it also dictates somewhat who and where we target in free agency and u.s recruiting....bring in best players you can possibly obtain...then sort out where u position guys

It also helps in game with injuries where you can flip ratio positions with an injury if you have guys at multiple positions who aren't dead weight

Yeah...show some emotion...get in a guys face

Yank underperformers...Dinwiddie has no issue with it...nor do other coaches...if you hurt a guys feelings...oh fricken well....you are a pro...deal with it

Stupid penalties...or continued miscues...take a seat for a series or two...send a message...heck...maybe the other they all starters guy will show something

It's definitely tough to see this happening in a GC hosting year after the run in the previous decade. I'd be more or less fine with what's happening if I knew we had a chance to reload for a cup at home... But.... It is what it is. Going to be a very interesting offseason for sure.

Wild to think that this will most likely be the first west final since 2017 without the Bombers in it

I agree. Just wanted it narrowed down. Strev should have been pulled and shouldn't start another game for us. I am also very concerned about our players attitudes and lack of focus and the coach needs to bring some consequences for that.

We need a better D-line.....but offence is just terrible.....

It s a pattern all year, this offence is no good, and coming out of the half it is terrible....our turn over ratio is terrible, or route trees are easy to defend, our o-line blocking schemes don't seem to work, no QB has had time and or about to consistently look even decent....

Sorry to those  clamouring for a different QB....it won't matter...nothing will change

Yup...2/3rds thru...this team doesn't have it...so stumbling thru rest of season as is...kinda pointless...get jump on 2026 now

That will never happen when we’re hosting the Cup. We’re still in a playoff spot. I don’t like our chances, but I can’t fault that mindset.

When’s the last time we’ve tried a fake on st’s? Maybe run a fake on one of those punts from midfield.

Yeah...we are...but this current version ain't winning 3 straight...have 5 games to integrate some life...and assess...totally doable on the fly...its not like u have to have full-scale change...but we seen enough of some...or enough of what their scheme is to know...it ain't cutting it

Sometimes 2..3 lil jigs of your roster is just what u need to catch lightning in a bottle ..this group aint as is

I'm going to take an unpopular stance here and not throw streveler under the bus... that first int I blame the play call. Sure he could have not thrown it (and likely been sacked) but that's the play, out of the hands quick. Was on target, the problem, as it is every time they call that play, is that the defense is not fooled at all and sits there waiting for it. That one I put squarely on the play call. The 2nd int yeah that one probably shouldn't have been thrown. Of course collaros throws ints like that a bunch too. Had one just before half last game very similar. Problem with it last night is again, defense sitting on top of everything g because not once before garbage time did we even consider threatening them deep.

Sure if you want streveler to overcome all the problems that we see with collaros too he didn't do it, but it's not like he's the only problem. At this point in the season it's abundantly clear that the #1 problem with the offense is the coordinator.

Kola also snapped the ball high on the first int and f@cked the timing from the start.

Yeah I agree with you. The play design was issue #1 on the first pick, and I think Sanchez mentioned that Peters was able to read it more easily because Wilson didn't sell running a route before blocking. The second interception looked to my untrained eye like the DB made it back to the ball on the curl before Demski did and there wasn't a window there. I guess Streveler could have thrown it more outside but ultimately just shouldn't have thrown it. But the lack of any vertical passing seems to mean the DBs can just come downhill with no worry about getting beat deep. I'd say the more egregious error by Streveler was the almost pick trying to thread it between 3 defenders.

Streveler also has one of the highest % of passes being picked in the CFL. His last 60 passes, 8 have been picked. Hogan stinks but Streveler is awful.

look at how poorly hogan has used established weapons though, imo streveler stinks but hogan is awful. if you can’t run with brady and 3 imp ol, you can’t run an offense in this league.

Even wilder to think we can go from 5 straight Grey Cups to potentially dead last.

Captain obvious but It’s usually not about throwing a player under the bus unless it’s 100% warranted it’s more about distributing the blame as appropriate across all positions and all coaches but blame per player/coach will vary. No one player or coach is immune but some shoulder way more blame than others. Streveler would probably be middle of the pack with shouldering blame looking at it as a whole.

How the mighty have fallen. Ugh. I’ve been a spoiled little brat for the last five years. What is the appropriate amount of complaining one can do here? :)

Yeah...first one really was ham sitting on that and jumping...its a snap..step..throw play...and pretty much no deviation from it as other guys are blocking

Was a bad snap too which didnt help

He needs to be better...both do..and really I will make final judgement on both in and after camp in a competent system and suport cast

My take is make him #3 next yr...short yardage...2 qb sets...use at TE..Slot...RB....his running will be coming back...and the fact he is brace free now lends u to believe the doctors believe he is where he should be...mind you not sure what his injury was last night...he got like vertically whiplashed in air so coukd be anything

The TSN cable feed cut from him suffering on the ground to handshakes and talking heads… I really wanted to see more to get an inkling of how bad it might be, but no one is talking about it except us on this forum 😕

Man, I really wanted Strev to be the guy. He's so likeable, personable, passionate and leaves it all on the field. To paraphrase Picard who paraphrased Melville, "If his chest had been a cannon he would have shot his heart upon it"...but alas he is not. He just looks lost out there. Hanging on to the ball too long and when he does finally pull the trigger you wind up suffering a minor coronary damn near every time.

He's so likeable I feel bad for even stating obvious truths about him...but he just doesn't measure up to any other backup in the league. Will never forget the fire, passion and role he played in the Bomber's Cup wins but, in the words of Sinatra, "And now, the end is near".
