Yeah... I'm starting to revert back to my pre 2019 malaise after every loss. I just watch this team play everytine & know it's not going to get any better. If anything, it'll get worse. 

1. Streveler’s decision making resulting in the interceptions.

2. 2nd half disappearing act on offense, maddeningly consistent.

3. Defensive front seven - pathetic roster allocation , pathetic rotation, zero pressure, JT tippy toes, WJ bouncing up and down, TJ vacating his gap for a ticats ball carrier, too busy smiling and joking around with ex teammates in black jerseys.

CH the league interference centre for the phantom call on the first onside kick.  Bombers already sucking but that call was an excessive extra kick to the groinal area.

The aggression has been coached right out of the first two levels of this defense in the past 2 seasons.

Aggression starts on the lines. Both sides. And it goes out from there. When you have a chicken **** defensive line like we do this is what happens.

So a good defense ONLY gives up 3s. Then in the history of football there's been zero good defenses.

You never talk about championship teams. Only the ones who lost in the championship. We know because you repeat yourself daily. 

All 3 phases did nothing with the offense being the worst of them all. That's just facts.

The offense was much worse than the defense, there is no question about that. The teams that will win when 2 interceptions are given up in scoring territory, are few and far between.

BUT - the Ti-Cats are a team that doesn't run the ball very much. They chose to run the ball and manage the game in the second half, because they knew they could. That speaks volumes.

Streveler is the worst QB I’ve seen since Brian Randall. So much hype and yet so so shitty. The dude from 2019 is long gone, there’s no way any team wins with him at QB consistently. Not a chance. Dude is cooked. It’s unfortunate cuz he definitely tries hard but the talent just isn’t there. The fur coat legend is just a memory now.  I used Randall cuz I remember Kelly putting him into a game and he couldn’t hit a pass for the life of him, ppl were saying he couldnt hit a barn door. Streveler can’t either plus he’s lost his ability to run which made him special. He was never a good passer really. Made his living running ppl over now can’t out run a 300 DL and makes just dumb throws. Does it every game also. It’s unfortunate. Them not taking him out even for a series must mean Wilson is just really really bad. Cuz how could he be worse than Streveler completing almost as many passes to Ticats as bombers in the first half. I think if Zach played last night and the game plan was Brady heavy, we win.

Love Streveler, but he’s not good enough. Not sure how that can be argued. If we roll him out again next week, I might have to join the group wanting a coaching change. Find out what Wilson is now so we’ll know before the offseason. I’m not optimistic, but I’d like to see.

 

We all know it's going to be Streveler until Collaros is healthy. Wilson is not seeing the field.

Would love to but you me and we all know @Atomicis correct and it’s Streveler until zachs neck injury heals up. Crazy. Turns out it’s his neck.

Yes he did get pretty banged up there it seems. He was definitely not right.

Because once again the defensive line started out ok but was totally gassed by the 2nd half. So yeah they started out just fine but couldn't stop Hamilton run late in the game at all.

Teams are doing to the Bombers what the Bombers used to do tonother teams. Just wearing them down and winning the game late.

You know. Because of the Ted Goviea passing, I kinda hope Hamilton breaks the curse in Winnipeg this season. I think it would be a great story cuz Ted really did build that team. It would be something if they won it all. And in Winnipeg. Makes perfect sense really. Their D needs work tho cuz Brady almost won the game on his own and probably would have if Streveler wasn’t allowed to throw at all.

I agree that Hamilton deserves a cup. But the team's ego in 2019 was over the top.

But we've seen the same story play out for many games now. Giving the lions share of DL reps to guys way over 30 without much rest does that to them. It's like clockwork and totally expected. 

Bombers dominated with a heavy rotation on DL to wear teams out in 2019 onwards and everyone copied them. Now we're getting whooped with the blueprint that used to be the pride of this team. Watching the Hamilton back run untouched up the middle while Jake is huffing and puffing and kornelson is barely even a bystander on the play... sad.

Also, we have no playermakers on defense. Tony Jones is making a lot of tackles, but no plays. Dbs aren't making plays, defensive line isn't making plays... I've got a lot to say about the offense too but we can't ignore the fact that the defense needs work too, just less work.

I think if they had run all game ;they still lose. This team does not have it this year.

I think what no one can get around no matter how they explain it away that staying status quo with this edition of our WBB gets exactly what we’re getting now. We’re 13 games into the season, we’re well past the ‘we’re working out the kinks, working thru the adversity, stay the course’.

Didnt blame it on defense...but they didnt do anything either to reclaim the game...they weren't gouged to death...but also didnt do anything to change the narrative either...

And why talked about a championship team 6 yrs ago...has zero bearing on today save for the fact we have a lit of guys still from that team that outlived their usefulness yrs ago

Yup...2/3rds thru...this team doesn't have it...so stumbling thru rest of season as is...kinda pointless...get jump on 2026 now

Our defense is decent but has some glaring weaknesses

We run a 3/4 line, but when we rush a lb, no real effort to disguise. With only 3 down linemen offensive line adjusts easily 

 The lack of physicality puts us at a disadvantage, qbs will hang in there, receivers are rarely punished, one of the reasons we dont get turnovers. Adding J  Jones would help us at wil or ml

(Smaller dbs,  and dt that mainly just try to maintain position contribute. Sask with Milligan,Sayles and Reaves as well as Rose and Johnson are way more intimidating)

IF Streve can't go next game, we may see Wilson.....bout the only way the guy sees the field....Watching Osh on the field in Ham, you can see in his face 'oh boy this ain't working' expression....yet he does little or nothing in game time to try and rectify the situation...He seems as lost as the club around him ...
