I have zero faith until proven otherwise in our coaching...and that's not just from losing 4 of our last 5 games...this has been since 2023 or so.....which coincides quite nicely with our talent and depth starting to age out...erode...or walk away. If not possessing a stacked roster...I not sure if we really have the coachability to pull things out of the fire, utilize, let alone recognize actual talent or make changes on the fly.... 1 minute ago, bearpants said: I know it's way too easy to say this in hindsight... and credit to some here that called it... after the 2023 season was the chance to do a significant re-tool... move on from Zach and roll with Dru... move on from Biggie after his injury in the WF and subsequent reinjury in the GC... start auditioning guys everywhere that wasn't solidified... might've meant some growing pains in 2024... but we had that anyways.... good coaching/management should've had the foresight to start preparing for the 2025 GC a season early like i have said several yrs....coaching has been killing us...and we have scratched out a lot of wins in spite of the coaching....except when it really mattered (3 grey cups) 2 minutes ago, 17to85 said: Be nice if we could show some glimpses of a passing game... or some glimpses of an actual Pro offensive play book....and play calling BaconNBigBlue and Piggy 1 2
BomberBall. Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Like most everyone else, I’m not going into this game with a tonne of optimism. I’m just hoping for a performance that doesn’t make me want to punch my tv. wbbfan 1
3rdand1.5 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Sorry to sound like Mr. Negative...and usually I do try and be positive...but from what I have seen from our offence this year, I have virtually no faith in them showing up or making a play when needed. I do think the defence has improved and is evolving even with some key injuries, I do believe they can compete with the other teams and keep us in games now. Our specials are doing great.....but.....I just can't see us winning many games with this offence...sorry Piggy 1, Booch and wbbfan 2 1

FROM what I know...He is ready, and game reps would be only thing to progress him now...But we figure dressing Ayers...a LB and having him out of position on dline, and then giving no reps is the way to go...like really?? Much like in 2023...Parker was ready to play well over a month before he actually got on roster...and was quite frustrated about it.... Piggy 1 and wbbfan 2
Arnold_Palmer Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I think we’re going to squeak out an ugly win. We’re usually a much better team at home. I’m not sure I have much confidence in this team right now but this is a winnable game, the place will be rocking regardless. voodoochylde, Noeller, coach17 and 3 others 4 2

Yeah, if Woods is physically ready to play, it’s ridiculous to not get him in the lineup. Especially with our depleted secondary, that hasn’t exactly been firing on all cylinders, we need to create havoc in the pocket. Bigblue204, rebusrankin and wbbfan 3

A dl of Woods, Adams, Lawson (when healthy, and Thomas (because hes AR till he retires sadly), wj, Vaughters, and Person would be deadly. Throw in bailey inplace of a back-of-the-roster canadian and you have a scary, scary front. Blitzing is hard to make work consistently in the CFL. Because of that, you are best off imo, if you run with the best mix of disruptive DL talent you can find. Booch and Bigblue204 1 1

Tracker Posted 13 minutes ago Report Posted 13 minutes ago 4 hours ago, Booch said: nor are we....so thats a wash Ottawa talent alone on offence compared to us may be the difference... Well, the real matchup is the Bomber popgun offence against the Ottawa defence, and the Ottawa offence against the porous Bomber defence and that is not good for the Bomber win potential. Gonna be hard to watch without a mouthful of anti-emetics.
