Case 2 catches, 10 yards, 1TD, caught 2 of 5 targets. I'd say Mitchell is at least an upgrade. Yeah he's a real difference maker. We were only in the game from his massive contributions. I look forward to seeing 4/30 next weekend from him. Edited 6 hours ago by MrFreakzilla

Also said "they did it at the end too!" as if it was even remotely the same. I could be wrong but are points not more important? Don't they play to WIN the game? Or at least that's what I assumed.

O’Shea wears a couple of Grey Cup losses for sure for playing badly injured guys. I didn’t see roster or in game decisions today that justify “worst coaching in the league hyperbole.” Noeller 1

Groupthink has made people believe he’s the single biggest problem this franchise has ever faced. I wrote this because the team has gone away from what worked in the 19 Cup win and we saw it tonight with Calgary's dline. When a qb doesn't have the time to throw chances are the other team will win. Collaros has no time to set his feet . We can all agree he is not the player he once was however we didn't win the cup in 19 because of him. It was the defense setting the tone. Making plays Did anyone not see the Eagles demolish Mahomes Signing Thomas so early meant our dline was going to be the same and it sucks Booch, ddanger, JohnnyAbonny and 2 others 3 2

The points are irrelevant if we don't blow a 17 point lead. You play field position against the wind with the lead. Look i get that those points were the margin of victory but it's not why we lost. Should have never come down to that. Asking a coach to predict his team shatting the bed is asking him to have a defeatist attitude and that permeates thru a locker room. You coach to win believing your team will make the plays that justify your decisions. Instead they drive only to fail on 3rd and inches. Those points were the margin of victory lost. I was referring to the turnover on downs, in chip shot field goal range. Kicking an FG there is not a defeatist attitude. rebusrankin 1
JohnnyAbonny Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago You’re not going to win much with a vanilla OC, a C-level receiving corps, a poor secondary and a D-Line that can’t get anywhere near consistent pressure. Welcome back to 2004 my friends. BRT, sportmentary2012 and Super Duper Negatron 1 2
Slimy Sculpin Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago A view from the cheap seats at McMahon. Actually the cheap seats turned into pretty good ones at the 40 yard line. (lots of empty seats to move to): A very promising start was followed by a disheartening finish. I didn't see much in the way of adjustments by the Bombers coaching staff. Calgary's staff made enough to win the game. How much rope does Hogan have? Officiating left a lot to be desired. The Bombers were a little undisciplined at times (especially special teams) but I thought the stripes were wearing red. When Demski is the go to guy for long passes, we are in trouble! Mitchell looks smaller than his roster height listing. Even Wheatfall looks like a waif out there. Receivers look tiny and slow. DBs looked tiny and slow beside the Stamps receivers. Wait a minute, they were hardly beside the Stamps receivers. The wind was a factor in the 4th quarter so the Bombers' tall foreheads got that decision right and it almost worked. There's more to be said but it was very discouraging. Third place.....maybe. Is a crossover playoff spot a possibility? I don't think there'll be a home playoff game so there will be revenue missed. Maybe it'll be a wakeup call for Miller and he'll start the ball rolling on making changes. rebusrankin 1
BaconNBigBlue Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago 🎼 The sun will come out tomorrow you can bet your bottom dollar that… tomorrow O’Shea will do…nothing. 🎶 The fact the O line is not giving Zach 2 extra seconds is a big part of the problem. Couple that with the fact the receivers are not getting open spells disaster for the offence. On the Defence they are playing way too soft. I’d rather take a few more PI calls and punish the receivers the. Giving up so many big plays. not sure what the answer is but something needs to be done before the season is too far gone.
blue85gold Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Haven’t had a chance to watch the game yet. Are things looking better than after the blow outs against Calgary or is the close score meaningless?

I was at the game (only attend a few a year here in Calgary). Bottom Line - Calgary has far more talent than the Bombers do and that IMHO is a fact that will not go away. On both sides of the ball at at just about every position other than RB the Stamps have a better team. sportmentary2012 1
Booch Posted 22 minutes ago Report Posted 22 minutes ago All points count...regardless how insignificant they seem and when given up How many games in the cfl do you see come down to 2 to 5 points a game for win in waning seconds...we don't give away those 2 for better field position and we at worse are in o.t...and to show no faith in your returner to make a big run is pathetic...we parked him on the 10 with instructions that if it was gonna land around him...let it go....sooooo weak and playing not to lose....in our case trying not to lose...no excuse for that decision...and when you ever see that occur in a cfl game...let alone 2x in same game....I'll tell ya....never 5 hours ago, TommyClements said: This argument would hold more water if the training camp darlings who were cut went on to great things. I didn’t see roster or in game decisions today that justify “worst coaching in the league hyperbole.” Well when cut u will never know...other teams put in work and time in their own guys so other teams cuts they for most part have zero intel on them...or zero need as they sliced away their own dead weight and replenished it already Funny thing Ham has prob now what 8..9 guys on their roster contributing...guys we deemed expendable or not worth the cost...and a couple of our former management and scouting guys...about 18 percent of their roster What's their record and how they look compared to us? Rather telling when you look at it
17to85 Posted 17 minutes ago Report Posted 17 minutes ago The 2 singles aren't a big deal IMO, the complete lack of offense in the 2nd half though.... yeah that's a problem. Also giving away big plays for free on D. sportmentary2012, wbbfan and TBURGESS 1 2

The bombers as you said are deficient is so many critical areas.
