The BBQ truck in the tailgate area is pretty good too (https://www.tortugassmokehouse.com/) . That was easily the highlight of the night for me.

Awesome.

I think at the EOD the ultimate highlight was our man Milt Stegall and the love BB fans gave him. I hope other players were watching to drive home the point that carving out a successful career in the CFL is a great thing where a community will support you for a lifetime.

I think the worst thing is we as fans feel we are headed to a rebuild but the powers that be do not seem too.

Yeah we'll see what happens but MOS and his no changes answer last night does not inspire me at all.

Will bang this drum as often as it needs... team is complacent right now. Need a shake up to wake everyone up. Sit a Willie or  Thomas.

Not MOS’s mo, especially with certain players. No way he deviates unless he’s literally forced to.

Agree 100% Time to set a few vets. Heck I live in Calgary and I can not even remember many of the names on the Stamps lineup that were there last year. Calgary did a great job of recruiting based on what I have seen - The Bombers Recruiting?? did it happen???

Well he certainly wasn’t the “fall” guy.  Wait a minute, he was. Dude couldn’t stand up all night.

May not be his MO but doing the same thing over and over again isn't going to help.

O’Shea and WJ both claim there was good pressure on VA, “just couldn’t bring him down” and “Vernon is a slippery qb, he’s always like that”

JFC this team is pure country club at this point.

Its an ongoing problem...and like I mentioned too many guys are wayyyy to comfortable knowing they will not get yanked...let alone sat a game or 2....but thats what's needed here if for anything to see what we have....and or put some fire back in the belly of some these mainstays.....or if the "depth" can actually play and if not then get some that can....It also goes for Osh.....he has no fear of anything/job security himself so just does his thing with not a care in the world. He is slowly ruining a real good team that was gifted to him for 2019-2022 whether people wanna believe it or not with how he's handling things...and how he coaches/what he thinks is important...past success aside he should in now way be safe ....and not held accountable from above...now way in hell

2 games now have been basically over by mid 3rd quarter....did we see back-ups in to actually get reps not in the pointless last 2 mins of a game?....nope

Did he pull loafers/dumb penalty guys/underperformers ?....nope

Did he practice the 2 point convert on late TD's in each game so we had live reps for when it might really matter?....nope

Did he practice the onside kick for the same purpose...live rep practice?....nope

He added an actual rush end for a dline that was again getting no pressure or push and to keep the 2 30+ guys fresh....nope...not gonna say 5 reps was useful rostering

Did he do any savy gambles.....challenges....use of rules afforded to him...nope, tho he did use 1 challenge but coulda pulled it outta his shorts again

Did he have answers to anything going on during the game....and in questions afterwards?...nope

Is he gonna make any significant changes for next game that an injury doesn't dictate?...not likely and based on his post game babble he aint changing anything on how they do busines

Related to the last point...coming off a bye,,....where we just played a team...watched more film on them last week and should have been prepared....healthy.....motivated and coached up...were we??....again nope

That my friend's and colleagues is poor coaching....piss poor really....and the beat goes on...status quo we will roll...and likely to 4th place and outta play-offs

Yes there a lotta season left and we are 3-2....but this has been season's in the making...the erosion...country club attitude...the belief things will work out and not truly coaching up the team...based on looking backward and not forward...failing to land any significant free agent because we don't know when...how...or where to upgrade, and this insistence on not putting the best team we could on the field game in or game out...or at least trying to find the right pieces we may have in-house, so all is not lost....yrt....but a lot needs to happen for the season to turn around....and be succesful at the end .....we shall see how it goes

But hate to say I told you so....but......we almost there....flame on me all you want but it is what it is...and was totally avoidable

Yeah those quotes there are damning... tsn showed multiple times how vaj was just rolling away from wherever the pressure was going to come from and not having to worry about getting hit.

There were a few plays they did get some pressure... but not enough to make life uncomfortable for vaj.

That one play where he spun away ,and found a wide open Alford ,how do you defend that? Was a hell of a play. Gotta give credit ,where credit is due ,guys. The Stamps are real,to quote our man Tait. But they exposed glaring weaknesses ,Does Kyle and Co.have the cajones to make the hard choices? History says no....

I agree with you I’m just reminding us that’s not how he rolls and he’s the guy in charge.

Vaj didn't even look on the throw, he just heaved it to a spot where he thought his receiver should be. Bridges I honestly feel like gave up because he thought vaj was just throwing it away.

Hey. I haven't posted here for years. Nice to be back. I'm afraid guys like Thomas, Jefferson, Bridges, Tony Jones, Kolankowski, Kramdi and a few others are not the solution. It seems other teams are more than willing to make changes when necessary but we are not. Sure...many will say that pro coaches know more than fans that have more than casual knowledge but I can't help but think that it's obvious after being beat twice by 5-1 Calgary that changes are very necessary. Why sign J.Jones and not play him?  Also, Person couldn't be worse than Willie, and Griffin is a baller whom I believe is under used. He could slide into Kramdi's spot or replace Bridges easily. Maybe Ayers could slide into Kramdi's spot because his coverage at times is suspect considering how long he has been on this defence. I know. I'm not a coach...but my knowledge is more than a casual fan. Our O-line, D-Line and Linebackers are not good enough and some like Booch spoke of this while we were winning...and then there's the QB's and receivers. Demski can't do it all, so why isn't Mitchell starting?? We signed him to start! Collaros...Strev...we all saw this coming. We're a bit screwed right now to be honest. No ones giving us anything so maybe we need to reconsider some guys we released, back ups on the roster, PR, and...yes.. trades. But... I think we will status quo because the truth is, our Coach is incredibly stubborn.

Amazing with your absence you can pin point most our issues...good observations

And alot of our wins glossed over the issues...will say it again...we won despite our inadequacies...and it's finally caught up and we need major fixes as opposed to tweeks

Agreed. Like AHAB, he will go down with his creation. I can foresee him threatening to quit if forced  to cut or sit players he is emotionally committed to. If so, who does Walters get to replace him on short notice?

If Walters is as smart as I think he is, he has to realize that if he does nothing about O'Shea, he will also be unemployed soon.

If we were to just inhouse it for the interm I'd hand it to Darryl Patterson..hes got excellent coaching background...has played under no nonesense coaches ..relatable to the import talent and only bias would be to put best talent out there

If he does well...reup him

I still say both unsigned is telling...earn that extension

Also 11 yrs is longtime in football for a coach and somewhat for a g.m....they all get stale and the message just stops working...just the way she goes...

Having Bridges canned stat would send at least a bit of a message to the team to do their jobs or else, but hanging onto the rest of the slugs will negate the message and reinforce the "old boys run this place" attitude.
