Huh....what's the call here? I think it's int. But then what? If he caught it while standing out of bounds in the endzone, that's just an incompletion right?

If he caught it in bounds....and then stepped out inside the endzone...what happens then?

Yeah, they get the ball on the 30? The Argo put himself into the endzone.

What would happen if a player intercepts a ball at the 5. Can they run into the endzone and then get the ball at the 30?

Side note. Luke Willson is already better than Madani and Brit Dort in his first few minutes.

Yeah I don't mind him at all

This kid Alexander looked pretty good....laser type passing and he can run...what's not to like....On the other hand the real Arbuckle showed up ....you know the one who beat us in the Cup....Bluto is now gone into a depression of sorts, with the thought that Arbuckle might have to suit up again, if Kelly is still out....and that they may have bigger problems on the club than their missing starter

One of the best young qbs to come into the league. His OL almost took him out by blocking his man into his knee. Dumb OL.

yup and when the food came out at midnight that usually entailed crackers, meet, cheese, pickles etc that did wonders on everyone’s breath and sharing of gas. :)

Do we need a dedicated social thread now?? Funny how HCB mentions the food & farts but not women. ;) As my Ukrainian uncle used to say with a thick accent... "If I tell you no stories, I tell you no lies."

We were talking about Dru Brown's Thursday night performance yesterday before the Als game. Compared to Davis Alexander, you can see Brown's deficiencies as a qb. Even healthy, he can't run. He also has a hard time avoiding the rush from the pocket. Yeah, he's accurate for sure & made some nice throws but he just seems to be missing something. Like the Big Play when the RedBlacks need it. Brown put up huge numbers inside the 20's but when he had to score to win, he couldn't. Alexander meanwhile is athletic, something Brown doesn't seem to be. I remember that one play when Alexander was flushed out of the pocket & took off with the ball & showed great speed to pick up the first down. Just a terrific play.

Brown is also getting a fraction the support in offence Alexander is. If you swapped places I think brown would look insane and while Alexander would run for more yards he’d struggle more.

But at that, it’s great to finally see the next crop of young QBs stepping up in the league. Brown and Alexander are well above rourke imo in every thing but hype. But still that’s the best 3 young starting QBs we’ve seen in the league in a long time.

I think they are both good QBs. Put a good team/system around them, and they will do well.

I like to think that I know a litle bit about quarterbacking as I followed my son's progress all the way from pee wee to high school in Calgary to Junior with the Rifles to JUCO in Northern California to D2 SFU. I also follow about a dozen qb coaches on Instagram, including my son & see what they're teaching youngsters today.

I really, really really like the skill set & toolbox Davis Alexander has. He has everything he needs to be a breakout star in this league. (If his Left Tackle doesn't kill him first). Is Dru Brown #2 or 3 on the list of great young qbs coming up? It's between him & Rourke & time will tell. Rourke is bigger & stronger than Brown & can run if he has to. That's Brown's weakness. He can't scramble & run. Or at least he hasn't shown that he can.

Dru Brown is a basically a pocket passer, he tends to get caught flat footed when a defender breaks thru on him, leaving him vulnerable to sacks.  Nothing wrong with his arm, but if he doesn't get enough time he can't hit the deeper routes.
