He is not a CFL calibre starting QB and probably will never be one.

I think he can become one in the right system. Whatever they tried against BC isn't it though.

Sure if the system only says qb run left, qb run right, qb run up the middle, qb run for your life. :-)

Ford can’t read a D. To be an elite QB you need to do that. He’s 1 read and scramble. Could he learn that ? Sure but prob needs to sit behind a vet willing to help him for a couple years. Not sure Cody is that guy. Now I’m not saying I’d do this but… maybe reuniting tre with Jarious who seemed to bring out the best version of him would be a start. More of an off season thing tho. With that said, anyone hear anything about Elgersma at all?

The biggest issue with Ford is he can’t throw the ball fast enough to be accurate at this level.  But you can give him a lot more room to work with by running a committed RPO scheme.  Then it’s a matter of if he can take the punishment of running more/always being the decoy.

Yeah, and a linebacker whose defence was on the field for 43 minutes and gave up over 170 yards to Butler as a performer of the week.

Gotta recognize greatness bro. Without Peters on the field, they give up at least 173.
