Carey is a weapon.  Ouellette is a 235 pound slug who runs upright.

See, Ouellette is always confusing to me because everyone talks about him as a power back but he is pretty tiny for that. Riders listed him at 5.09 and 210 going into last season. Then there were reports of him ending the season at 225. And then apparently he lost 35 pounds and put 10 back on to start the season at 208 this year.

I thought he got into body building two years ago and this is why everyone assumes that he has power.

100%.

but will he break ajs record for most rushing yards in their first game with a new team whose team name starts with R, and when the sun is up but not all the way out?

Does Ryquell "Out of Football" Armstead hold that record?

Sounds like his cycle ran out before heading back to the regular season.

Carey was an excellent running back. but the Argos didn't hesitate to release him and I have to think there was a reason behind it. RB's lose the mileage and speed battle faster than any other players on the field and I have to wonder if his odometer has rolled over.

He's not exactly a guy you want to design your Offense around. But as a placeholder for a season when you're expected to do well, he's a solid add.

They should just roll with the Houdon who replaced Oullette...utilize a import elsewhere and likely save money....regardless tho with that crap oline and just the crap OC....doesnt really matter who they have...especially with Brittle Harris back behind center....They are a team in my opinion on the fine line of implosion at any moment....I also not sold on Mace either...doesnt seem like legit HC material there...tho thats what you gey when you settle....Dickyboi being another example.....Meuller the O.C too currently.....crap staff there in my opinion....and the asshattery by players you still see on the field is a rflection of the locker room cilture still permeates there from yrs ago

I'm not knocking the signing, just don't think it's a massive add. Personally I would have taken Brown before him because that guy can dominate a game in a big way. I might even have taken Fletcher over him as well because he is so versatile in both the passing and running game and is 10x the blocker that Carey is.

Carey is a consistent runner whose best days are behind him, He probably won't hurt them but I doubt he brings much to the table either. Kevin Brown is the guy they should have gone after. A legit game breaker that defences have to earnestly worry about.

I feel like we have our own future Kevin Brown on the PR.

tis true...actually a more physical one....I still say we should just start him as the "5th" receiver and incorporate him in all sorts of ways...Imagine sets with Him...BO and Logan all in the backfield?....Demski as well running in motion....sucking away who the defender for him is?....Especially if/when Pokey comes back...A unit of him Schoen, Demski and Clercius along with Cooley and Logan as the 5th guy...how could you not be succesful with that and BO as your RB??
