Harris (in my opinion) is the second best quarterback in the league.

Still doesn't mean he's good.

That's way more telling of how bad the current generation of CFL QBing (and coaching) is than anything Harris has done with the Riders. 
 

The Doug Berry/Kevin Glenn mediocrity combination of decades past would be in the top 3-4 of the league this season.

The state of qbing in the cfl is awful right now. Probably the worst I’ve seen since before khari/ac.

I can't think of a time that it was worst. 

If I was gonna rank the QBs I’d say

Vaj Kelly Harris 

the rest. And no one has been consistently elite this year. 

It was already going downhill - but Reilly retiring, Masoli chronically injured, Mitchell falling off a cliff, and Rourke leaving really has left a dent. 
 

Past eras have had more vets hang on longer and play more capably until some younger guys were ready.

What’s the kiss of death for a hc in any sport? A public vote of confidence from the president. And this is more of a tough to replace a hc mid season lol. 

Back handed rumour I heard is Arbuckle to Calgary in a Nichols to Bombers esque move, either following release or for like a conditional 8th round pick or something.

I think a conscious effort to exclude something from the field of view

Without Alford Sask basically has no offense in this one.
