hmmmmm..... some possibly troubling things on there, but here's hoping it's nothing major. Luckily, this week is a gimme, and then we're on a bye. Lots of time to heal up.

if a player is healthy...u get him back in...even with bye coming...no need for that extra rest as he getting it in the bye....same with down the stretch...resting ooddles of guys for too much time is recipe for disaster and for team to become less than sharp when it matters...u play full bore....but maybe give back-ups more reps...we have shown are back-ups are basically just in name only...record shows as much....It also leaves a player more apt to actually getting hurt when tossed back into the fray from too much "rest"....you go in guns a blazing....and when playoffs start....evaluate whos left standing and forge on

Man if we lose Bighill for any length of time we have a completely different Lb crew that was to come in this year...crazy.

Never noticed that. Yet true I guess.

It's crazy were already within a win or two (at most ) clinching a playoff spot before labour day

Had a whole discussion about this on the weekend and someone ran the numbers... We could clinch via the Banjo Bowl...

While doing guzzintas the picture improves with each SK loss.

I ran some of the permutations based on the East remaining head-to-head match-ups. If the Bombers win their next two games (taking them to week 12), they will guaranteed finish ahead of two of the East teams by season’s end, but will not clinch a crossover spot in week 12 unless Edmonton loses twice more by then - so it is possible they could clinch at 11-0 but dependant on specific factors not yet determined. The earliest guaranteed time they could clinch with no help from other teams is the Banjo Bowl if they win everything up to and including that game (go 13-0). Realistically, 13 wins should salt away a home playoff game if not the division title, but this is the mathematical clinch scenario.

All you need to worry about is them going 1-0 this week. The O’Shea way.

Don’t know if this is a real thing but…maybe.

3Down has been talking about this. Apparently with a win the Bombers would be the first CFL club ever to win 400 home games in their franchise history. Calgary was at 399 but the Bomber win two weeks ago denied them the claim to be first. And the Bombers play before Calgary this week. FYI Edmonton has been stuck at 397 home wins since 2019.

Ok, does anyone see any of these players NOT dressing?

I don't see the point of pushing Ellingson into duty right now unless he's 100% good to go.  Otherwise let him have the bye-week to get really healed up.

what really matters though is clinching first in the west.  We want that home playoff game.  Let Rourke and Bo duke it out in the WSF.

Prokop is dinged up again? I'm starting to think he is brittle.

Like someone had mentioned,if he's healthy then play em. Doctors likely wouldn't put em out there mid season if he was hurt,he'd likely not be "hurt" if it was the playoffs though.
