I recall the Argos of the past fielding some pretty decent American OL (Mike Pearson, et.al).

I think they go from a 4 win team to a 5 or 6 win team, but will be in more close games. They still have a long ways to go though.

Sure, but these players signing contracts with a team is still contingent on the SMS. They've signed a ton of players and I don't imagine they're all taking discounts to be on the team.

I'd be concerned to see Walters going all drunken sailor in free agency, that's all.

Sadly, I had a look. Turns out Reed puts up similar numbers as Judge, so all is good.

So Judge had 61 tackles, 11 special team tackles, 2 Int and 5 Sacks in 2019.

Jordan Herdman Reed had 37 tackles, 8 special teams tackles, 0 Ints and 1 Sack

Justin Herdman Reed had 37 tackles, 5 STT, 2 sacks

Yeah when they said similar numbers did they mean combined?

Justin Herdman started 7 games

Cameron Judge started 17 games

Of course Judge is going to have better numbers.  He started more than twice as many as Justin and more than 3 times as many as Jordan.
