Yep Burnham > Rogers. While both are very good receivers, Burnham is more durable of the two. 

Burnham or Ellingson....I wouldn't sniff at either one of them being in our camp this summer.

Grays advantage is he could play either tackle spot though, which is harder to find especially in a canadian. 

Eli is a real stud though too. Those two and speller would start on more teams in the league then not this year.

Burnham....very intriguing....great hands and a great target for Collaros...3rd. down rumour has Meds leaning toward retirement...Goes on to say it was a good thing thing we signed the Legghio kid.....but who knows for sure with Medlock

Define unreasonable amount... maybe BC is looking at the Blue where we got great deals on some of our guys and think that they can do the same.

Ellingson is probably the more realistic choice of the 2 from a money perspective. .

I think it's a good trade. I feel that Speller is a goner anyways. So we upgraded 52nd pick to 48.

Pretty useless trade to my eye. That’s a swap of 6th round picks. Who was the last 6th round pick of note for any team, much less the Bombers? Maybe the pick gets upgraded if Toronto is able to sign him.

Specifically 6th round?  Kienan LaFrance.  

FWIW where someone gets (or doesn't get) drafted doesn't mean much in the CFL.  Speller himself didn't even get drafted but he's proven himself to be a quality player.

If the Argos won't able to sign him he will still be an FA. Although it wont be impossible that the Argos talked to him already before this trade happened. 

well Speller went undrafted, so you never know what you get in later rounds, as been proven by Walters in last few drafts
