Tucker Carlson??  Tucker ******* Carlson?!!!! That guy might be the biggest asshat that has ever lived.  Nothing he spouts can be considered ‘information’.

This is a tough one because we were battling just to make the playoffs so the lineup had to be based on what Bones thought could win. I will give Chevy a pass on this one. He let's his coach set the lineups.

Agreed.  And losing AJF wouldn’t be a devastating blow.

They thought the same thing about Eyssimont, apparently.

Yup, and other teams have thought similarly about these players.  They’re fringe NHL caliber.  The Jets have issues to deal with, but shuffling the bottom of the deck is the least of them.

This team can't handle the big stuff or the small stuff.

Oh please, for the love of God, use the heritage jerseys full time...

Anything is better than the Jets 2.0 jerseys but you would think they could come up with something better? And, it's time for the home team to wear white again.

Well, there it is a rebrand. Now the team can say it actually did make changes.

NHL may go to 50/50 for next year. So White for 20 games or so.

Below the bottom of the deck even. Our issues start with 26 55 and a few others it appears. The depth guys sign here, the stars don't. Room culture is our biggest issue and that starts with 26.

If the Jets make 1 move, 26 can not be back. He's the defacto captain to the rest of the room so you have to remove him to truly change the culture.  Taking a letter off? Don't matter if he's still looked at as the leader in the room

Insiders Weigh in On Sabres’ Rumored Interest in Hellebuyck

The future of netminder Connor Hellebuyck with the Winnipeg Jets remains uncertain. As the team goes through what is expected to be some sizeable offseason changes, and as the goaltender approaches unrestricted free agency next July, whether he stays with the Jets or winds up elsewhere before then is unclear. Speculation surrounds the 30-year-old, with the New Jersey Devils and the Buffalo Sabres emerging as potential suitors if a blockbuster trade were on the table.

The Sabres, in particular, are rumored to have interest and could greatly benefit from landing a proven number-one goalie to boost their playoff aspirations, notes multiple journalists and insiders.

As per a report from The Athletic’s Michael Russo and Eric Duhatschek, the Sabres have a genuine interest in acquiring Hellebuyck. Landing a goalie of his caliber could take them one step farther along their path to be considered serious contenders, while also providing a mentor and insurance policy for promising young prospect, Devon Levi. Levi might be the goalie of the future in Buffalo, but whether he’s ready to take that step now remains to be seen.

Fellow Athletic scribe Matthew Fairburn weighed in on the discussion and agreed that Hellebuyck would be the best option for the Sabres, especially when considering the limited choices available in this summer’s free agent and trade markets. Fairburn suggests exploring the possibility of a trade if the Jets’ makes sense if the team can do so without sacrificing their top prospects like Matthew Savoie or Jiri Kulich.

It would be so Chevy to claw Comrie back in a BUF trade.

Based on what I read Helle say about his desires, Buffalo ain't one of them, i.e., Helle says he's running out of time and wants to win a cup now. Not sure the Sabres are on the top of that listin the next little while.

Unless of course the Sabres feel like they are one piece away from winning it all. That piece being Helle.

Though you would think they would lose some significant pieces while acquiring that Helle piece unless Chevy gets taken advantage of.

So...pretty safe to say at this point:

The Jets gave the Knights about as much competition as any other team has.

The game we did win was a Beut. If only we could have kept that pace for three more games.

Game 3 and 4 were impressive and competitive, too. Shame neither ended up a win for the home team, though.
