WHat truly sucks about that news....

True but they did get it after too.

Health Canada said in an email that Pfizer submitted the preliminary data for children aged five to 11 Friday afternoon, which was earlier than expected. The department said it expects the formal filing of the company's submission in mid-October.

The FDA got results earlier.

******* bible belt...Christ sakes. Love thy neighbour has become infect thy neighbour in the name of personal freedom. What an absolute embarrassment. You need a hazmat suit any time you leave Wpg...

Unfortunately, it is not just the bible belt. Winnipeg's own Spring Church has decided to offer religious exemptions to vaccine mandates. My guess is that it is the biggest church in the province (by net worth at least), but I could be totally wrong on this. Even more disgusting is that our health minister is a member of Springs Church and has been caught breaking health rules herself multiple times already.

Springs also has outbreaks at both campus's totally 35 cases. Louis Riel SD has about 17,000 students and staff and 12 cases, just to give a comparison for how bad it is in those schools.

I live right by one of their schools. Walk by it frequently and see no Covid precautions, even while there is an active outbreak. Sure, I only see outdoors, kids are still unmasked and bunched together.

I Listened to Roy Greene on CJOB for 5 minutes today. He gave a lawyer who represents anti - vax clients far too much air time.  I'm surprised CJOB tolerates his show, as I've noticed this before.

The whole point is to stir up controversy, regardless of harmful outcomes, even to the point of emboldening insane, violent advocates.

How worried should we be about the "delta plus" variant?

The delta subvariant known as AY.4.2 – ominously dubbed "delta plus" – is TKing headlines as cases of it are increasing in the United Kingdom.

Earlier this month, the U.K.'s Health Security Agency published a report stating "a delta sublineage newly designated as AY.4.2 is noted to be expanding in England." The descendant of the highly transmissible delta variant has two mutations to the spike protein, and it appears to be on "an increasing trajectory" as most recent data suggests it made up approximately 6% of all sequenced cases in the U.K.

So what does this mean for the United States?

First of all, the delta subtype variant has already been detected on our shores. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently stated delta plus is not a cause for concern . . . yet, but the agency is monitoring the situation closely.

READ MORE: Delta variant twice as likely to hospitalize victims, new study finds

"We're watching it very carefully," CDC Director Rochelle Walensk Walensky said on NBC's Meet the Press last week. "We have had a handful of cases here in the United States, but it has not taken off as it has in the U.K."

As some may recall, before the delta variant exploded in the U.S., it was the dominant strain in the United Kingdom. In many ways countries in the U.K. have become blueprints for the United States, which is why news about the "delta plus" variant increasing abroad can be unnerving for Americans. Does this mean a delta-plus wave is imminent?

Experts who have been following the pandemic tell Salon it's likely not going to be worse than the original delta surge, but it is a variant to keep track of since it's possible that AY.4.2 is more transmissible than the current dominant delta variant.

"Any variant is potentially a cause for concern, and given what happened with delta I'd be really hesitant to say something absolutely isn't a problem, particularly given how little we know," Justin Lessler, a professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina's Gillings School of Global Public Health, told Salon. "But that being said, what we do know about the delta plus variant doesn't indicate to me that it's a major problem, at least for the United States.

"It looks to be about 10% more transmissible than delta," he continued, "and in our work on the scenario modeling hub, when we looked at a hypothetical variant that was 50% more transmissible than delta, we did see resurgences in that case, but we didn't see big ones that put us back to the size of the delta wave or last winter's winter wave."

Newsmax Star Claims Vaccines Contain ‘Bioluminescent’ Tracker Linked to Devil

Newsmax White House correspondent Emerald Robinson on Monday night tweeted out the utterly batshit claim that COVID-19 vaccines contain a “bioluminescent marker” named after Lucifer “so that you can be tracked.”

Twitter has since taken down Robinson’s post, replacing it with a note stating the tweet violated the social platform’s rules.

Robinson, who has a long history of making provocative and outrageous statements on social media, reacted to another Twitter user’s post that the “Moderna vaccine DOES contain Luciferase.” That user also attached a clip featuring a Wikipedia description of the enzyme, which notes that “the name is derived from the Latin word lucifer, meaning ‘lightbearer’” and the enzyme produces bioluminescence.

“Dear Christians: the vaccines contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked,” Robinson blared in her Monday night tweet. “Read the last book of the New Testament to see how this ends.”

The Biblical reference cites the Book of Revelation, which describes a war in heaven between the Archangel Michael and “fallen angels” led by the devil, also known as Lucifer. The book also warns that “no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

None of the COVID-19 vaccines, however, contain luciferase or any other tracking materials. While the enzyme was used in COVID-19 research to help researchers track how viruses interact with cells, luciferase is not an ingredient in the actual vaccines. Furthermore, the enzyme has nothing to do with Satan or the devil, as its name merely references the Latin term for light.

Vaccine fraud has occurred in Saskatchewan, with an unspecified number of people paying others to take their place during the vaccination process, according to a professional body representing pharmacists in the province.

The Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP) "has confirmed there is vaccine fraud occurring within Saskatchewan," according to an Oct. 19 SCPP note to registered pharmacists obtained by CBC News.

"Individuals are paying others to get vaccinated under their name, using their health cards."
