Sanchez was a dirty player and some of us with longer memories recall his cheap shots against various Bombers including Milt.

  • That's why the CFL should be 1 division instead of East/West. Eskimos miss the playoffs @ 9-9. Hammy gets a home playoff game at 8-10. Single division - Stamps and Riders get a bye.

Nelson looks intriguing as a Returner/WR. Nice catch by Simonise, excited to see what the future hold for him. Kudos to Lankford on his job kicking. I've lambasted the kid enough, felt I needed to giv

Say what u want but Lankford is in the cfl history books now

Only player to score a TD and kick a FG in the same season

Meh. In the 1958 Grey Cup Jim Van Pelt, the Bomber QB, set a scoring record by rushing for a TD, catching a pass from Leo Lewis on a trick play for another one, kicking 4 converts and 2 field goals.

The Bombers look like they've gone to sleep. Edmonton is not playing that great but we're just going thru the motions it seems.

Umm I think it's called conservative play and save the big scheming for the playoff game.  In essence, just a preseason type game here.

When teams had 32 man rosters they had no room for specialists. If you kicked then you played another position. Most kickers were also punters. There were no return specialists or long snappers. You started somewhere else & did the long snapping. Matter of fact, most Centers could long snap. Bob Swift could long snap. Paul Desjardins before him could long snap. Most younger fans don't seem to realize the CFL existed prior to 1980.

I'd like to see Brian Bennett get some snaps.

LOL. I've done some vacuuming for my wife who asked as we have company this evening. I obviously missed that. But I'm in her good books.

He went in to start the second half

Fogg is having a TERRIBLE game.

Better now than next week, I guess.

He is, as the plan stated, this is essentially preseason football, and he was just in the last series.

I don't mind Lapolice going vanilla today.  We don't need the Riders or Stampeders seeing all the tricks in his bag today.

I fail to see how getting your team humiliated in the last game of the season, tiring out your defence and not giving even a few reps to your starting QB is smart preparation for the playoffs.

Like I said, Hall has the guys playing soft zone today by design (something I understand and one sour poster doesn't).  Plan has been for us to be vanilla on both sides of the ball today because we got the big game next week.

Edmonton is going for all the marbles because Maas is paranoid about his job security.

I was a little surprised Bighill even suited up today, but he is now out too.

This kind of prep has been done by playoff teams for years.

I have to say, I’m disappointed that O’Shea took Streveler out so early. I recognize that we may need him in the playoffs and an injury to him would be a problem but the guy needs reps and if he’s resistant to even put in his backup in blowouts, there are few better opportunities than a meaningless game.

Well...we'll let that action go this time. But in the future...only do tasks in which you don't have to take your eyes off the game. For example, I fold laundry...

I understand that, but Fogg is still having a very bad game.

Augustine is ballin’.

Nelson has some quick's

Sheesh, tell strevler this game doesn't mean anything

Fogg made a nice breakup on that deep ball.

Augustine is so much better than LaFrance it’s not even funny.

"Where has this Edmonton Eskimo team been......" -Rod Black

Ummmmm they are playing starters against scrubs.....

Rod Black is one of the biggest idiots in all of professional sports, which pains me since he's a Winnipegger.

I hate Rod Black more than anyone on earth, without exaggeration.

At running the ball, which is about 30% of a RB's job in this day and age.
